Hot and heavy

Wow, the whole series has some steamy parts but this one... Dddaaannggg. **Fanning myself** Great story made even better by Christian Fox narrating. P.s. I think it's really like how this author takes you on a journey with songs mentioned in the book the characters are using to process through their emotions. There is a surprising amount of psychological wisdom and addressing the adult results of childhood trauma (attachment trauma). The Reed family all suffer from Complex PTSD and if you've ever studied the trauma types this this is rather fascinating to observe through her characters.

Hot dirty-talking QB? Yes, please!!!

I think this book is my favorite in this series. Who doesn't love a hot alpha dirty-talking QB? Harlow was perfect for Noah, and he was the one person able to love and heal her. Using a tough, biting exterior, Harlow keeps everyone at arm's length, including her brothers. Noah, who sees through her walls, and is determined to break them down for her. I adored Noah, and his huge heart...and that, too! This was a great love story.

I listened to the audiobook version (because Christian Fox!), and it was wonderful. His gift w/voices is amazing, and they all shine brightly. The love scenes were scorching, no surprise from Shayla Black.

As with all the other books in this series, I can't wait for the next--and final book in this series.

Not Bad

not bad, but not the best one of the bunch so far. I enjoyed listening to this one. I was a little shocked that all three of the women became pregnant around the same time at the same time however, it was I would say on the predictable side, but not..

Steamy read

Man this was a hot and steamy story. Noah and Harlow made me what to spice things up. I laughed and cried. Some parts shocked me with Noah, Maxon and Griff. I would recommend this series.

This couple are my favorite out of the first four books that I have read. It was beautiful reading about them falling in love

I absolutely loved this read. From start to finish I could not put the book down. The narration was perfect and 🔥! Talking about HOT... omg omg omg!!! this read will get your feelings going. I'm going to have to read the other books in the series now.

A Great Story and Fantastic Narrator

This was a great story with emotional ups and downs. For me what made it a must listen and incredibly enjoyable is Christian Fox. His narration and acting skills are so strong, so real that you feel all of the character’s emotions. You become invested in the characters, the outcome of the story and find it hard to take breaks from the audiobook.

So I came in expecting one thing...

I kind of wanted a book with some dirty talk and someone recommended Shayla Black. So here we are... and WOW.

In a way this book is totally your typical alpha jock romance. Guy meets woman. She’s forward. He’s forward. They fall into some hot sex. They are very aware of the needs and implications of said arrangement.

Then something happens and the arrangement gets a little technical. Unexpectedly detailed in how to work through it and it gets a lot of feelings involved that were never really expected.

You see how parents really shape children. How guarded they can be and yet how willing they are to risk things. Time isn’t a factor when things can change in an instant or when things are broken because of a memory. Shayla weaves these instances all through the book. Sometimes a little out there, but they work into the core story.

A very pleasing book for me. Christian did an amazing job. I didn’t have issues with his female narrative and his male voice was fantastic. If anything, the audio could have been a bit cleaner because listening in my car was an issue, while in ear was not.

Such a great story!!

I loved all the characters and most of all Noah and Harlow!! Christian Fox is amazing and loved every minute!! This makes me want to visit Hawaii even more!!

GET THERAPY GIRL!

Noah was a man in some serious love & Harlow was a woman in need of some serious therapy. Harlow's issues & the push pull scenario she put Noah through made me want to shake Noah & tell him to kick her to the curb. While I understand that she had Mommy -Daddy issues after growing up with what I can't even call the Parents from Hell because I doubt that hell would accept them, she was just stupid sometimes.
