Awesome story. Awesome narration

What can I say except this book had it all Romance as good as it gets. Mystery and angst. Beautiful story with such romance. Highly recommend !!!!! I

A bit cheesy and predictable, the “dirty” talk attempts just didn’t work. Overall just an OK book

Shayla is quickly becoming another of my favorite authors and I Love Christian Fox's narration! He gives each character a distinct personality!

addicted to characters

I'm vested in the characters from the series but the same old young inexperienced women falling madly...blah blah blah is getting old. the story line had a nice "say what now" moment. the vivid scenes were juicy. change in demographics nice

Good, but I prefer WICKED!

Good romance with likable characters. Good spin-off for the next generation.

But I prefer my men... WICKED!

Was on board until 2 hours before the end

I have read a few by this author and am always up for Christian Fox so I figured why not.
I am not a big fan of the 'OMG we've known each other a week but we're in love' deal - because well, it's just dumb.
Why there is need for authors to keep going that route is beyond me.

This is of course, what is what led to the even more annoying 'Oh we're in love but I am going to not trust the other person and tell the truth - or give the benefit of the doubt ' scenario.

I want to get lost in a 'mostly believable' story. Maybe that's just me...

Great Listen while working

This was a good story to listen to while at work. Could stay on track and be able to keep interested in the plot and was not expecting the ending.

This will make a feminist outta you

This story has everything that’s wrong with the patriarchy on full display. Yuck. And I don’t find a southern accent charming. It makes a man sound SLOW, like maybe he’s been walking barefoot to the outhouse again and he got himself that dang southern tapeworm. Again, yuck. Christian Fox, however, was AMAZING. He is the only reason this gets more than one star.
