This is a delightful story made fun listening with the infusion of southern culture. I cannot wait to listen to the rest of the series.

This is book 2 of this series but is a standalone story. The core characters from the first book return with several new ones thrown in to help Miss Julia on her new adventure. Miss Julia is a character of a bygone era trying to navigate through modern times, while imposing her own standards on those around her - and frequently they are better for it. Julia evolves as a character as she interacts with the world around her which provides interest and humor to the story. Overall, very enjoyable.
