Fine. But sad that she had to go “woke”

Enjoyed the 1st book. Second book she has to throw in unnecessary character references that were not present in the 1st book. That is why it bothered me… it was like Jenny forgot to make sure there was a gay and bisexual character in the first book so over did it in the second.

A Beautiful Sequel

I absolutely adore Jenny Colgan and this was one of the first books I ever read from her. When the sequel was released I could not buy it fast enough! This story is an incredible journey and a beautiful love story of many; lover of Edinburgh; lover of books and bookstores; lover of genuine and charming characters; lover of Christmas; and lover of love stories! I will read this series many a time over!

The best perfect Christmas story

I enjoyed this story. I love bookstores. This bookstore is all I imagine a bookstore should be.

Fantastic 2nd book in series

The narrator is phenomenal! She does the best voices for all the character, including the kids. If you liked the first book, you have to keep reading. Such a festive book for Christmas but includes Carmen’s growing love of books.

Didn’t want it to end!

Loved the setting, the characters, and the little reminders of friends from past books. Another favorite, a cozy story that I’ll be reading over and over again. Thanks Jenny Colgan!
