Would you consider the audio edition of Maximum Speed Reading to be better than the print version?

I was hesitant to purchase when I saw that the workbook or video that the author spoke about was not included.

What did you love best about Maximum Speed Reading?

Quick, gets right into the topic. Lots of good reading, learning, and studying tips. I'm already reading quite a bit faster and getting through books I want to understand is feeling much less intimidating.

Would you recommend Maximum Speed Reading to your friends? Why or why not?

Sure. Especially for anyone in school. NOTE: There isn't a story (hence rating it 3 stars for story).

What about Howard Berg’s performance did you like?

He's funny and easy to listen to. Moves the material along at a decent pace (though I used the speed-up function quite a bit).

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Maximum Speed Reading?

The reading and note taking techniques.

The PDF is included!! Just go to your library on the Audible desktop site and the PDF will be listed with your audio book. There is also a link to see the referenced video online. AND. . . I found out too late that there are tracks for all of the timed drills - including study music - on the last two tracks of the audio book. So you don't have to use your own timer.

This audio book contains a lot of good information about reading and learning.

My reading speed was 270 WPM when I first started and by the time I was halfway through, my reading speed was 640. I was wary of the claims of this audio book before, but I am very happy that my time and efforts have paid off. If you are a native English speaker and you want to learn how to read faster and retain more of what you read, this is a great book for you.

good book learn what you need to know practice

first half on how to second half is practice simple things all you need to really do is to practice and learn to remove sub vocalization then take random how to books speed read them then try to see how much of it you understand keep doing that until you can be comfortable with the speed you want overall it was a good book

just ok

there is a lot of information and drills that are just confusing and not really helping. so listen to this, take what you think is good and leave the rest....

There's just one problem

Everything is great...except there is no video! I tried going to Nightingale-Supplements and the only materials available is the guide. Not the videos. Please review and fix

No workbooks

If I knew I needed a workbook I would have not purchased this.
This should not be sold. The book references a work book frequently and this audio does not come with that workbook

How is one supposed to follow the program without the woirkboiok and video? Pointless! Waste of time!

This could have been a 4 star experience if the workbook was included and mailed to the listener.

I would not recommend this because it refers to the workbook often and the workbook is not included.

I don't think this book should be sold on Audible because it does not come with the workbook nor the video. Although it has useful information, I wish I could return this due to this fact.

how are we suppose to learn the information in the book without all the necessary tools that we need, which is suppose to be included in the package of the audiobook.
