Nothing's more romantic than matching with the same guy every time you reluctantly download a dating app.
Hotter than ever—check. Off-limits—double check. Why does the universe hate me?
Cole Kincaid is unfairly irresistible and the one guy I'll never have. My brother's best friend is all grown up, but he's not here to witness my messy girl era. He's Dad's new assistant coach for Heston U's hockey team.
Match me once, we'll laugh it off and never talk about it again. Match me twice, well, this is awkward. Match me three-four-five times? My resolve is only so strong.
Constantly enduring Cole's charm in this small town is tempting enough, thanks to the pesky crush I never got over. We're matching all the way, whether I like it or not. After a bad breakup, I'm only interested in avoiding loneliness through winter. And at rematch number… I've lost count, it turns out he wants to help me with that.
What begins as an enticing game of sneaking around in secret turns into something neither of us can walk away from once the snow melts. The question is… how long can we hide this?
Matching All the Way is a full-length standalone hockey romance in the Heston U Hotshots series.

SPOILERS - and notes for bookclub 😄
Predictable but I love a good sports romance 🏒⛸️🥅
The 🌶️ scenes…all I’m saying is that I’m in a bookclub with my GRANDMA…and I have to look her in the eye and say I loved it lmao. Sorry Grandma. Sorry Aunt Sue. Cole is no cowboy but hockey butts are hot okkkuuurttt. I’m not sorry about it. It’s cuffing season ya hear.
Ok anyways.
I like how Cole likes Eve for who she is. And how Eve liked Cole in his “wild days” before he started to mature and wanted to settle down and stay in one place. Eve talks a lot about her adhd which got a little annoying but I think it fit with the plot and drove home the point that she wasn’t good enough or steady enough for other guys. She wasn’t too weird or had too many crazy ideas with zero follow through. Cole likes that about her which I thought was cute. Probably because I see that in myself 💁🏻♀️ (adhd girl unite)
I felt like hiding their relationship for almost a whole year was a little cringe as an adult. I get the forbidden love trope and it’s one of my favorites. But at the same time, his job was secured. Her family loved him and he’s invited to everything. They spend a lot of time together so his friend Benny (Eve’s brother) is a little bit oblivious but I’ll chalk that up to being a boy and having a newborn 😆 (the brain rot is real)
She’s got a good group of girlfriends and I LOVE that. We love a supportive queen group.
Let’s just end it with a reminder that Cole has a filthy mouth and an even better ass. Just ask Eve’s dad.
