A personal look

I really enjoyed listening to a private and personal part of Alan Rickman. He was a fantastic actor and left way too early in life. Until reading this book I did not realize how chaotic actors lives can be. Such a great insight.

I looked forward to this audio book of Alan Rickman's diaries. It took me

a long time to get through these entries. I'm guessing this was to be

used as a way to remember events for an auto biograpy, that never

happened. It was interesting to learn tid-bits of his life. One of the

reasons it was hard to finish was, not being able to hear it in Alan's

own voice. Steven Crossley (Narrator), Bonnie Wright (Narrator), Alfred

Enoch (Narrator), Rima Horton (Narrator) just not the same.

I pre-ordered this on the first possible day. Not sure if I should have

just waited for a library borrow. It is what it is.

The title says it all. He truly goes deep.

A wonderful book, and audio performance, of a viewpoint from an active actor, who Truly and Deeply shows us how they may have a famous name, face and reputation...Ultimately have the issue as anyone else. Just a busy job. Thank you to all involved in the project.

Would love to learn more.

It was like a visit to London, Rome or any similar famous destination, you can say you were there but you don't really know it. I briefly met him years ago and regret not inviting him to my home. The book gives a thin layer of a deep personality, but I am glad to have heard it.

Alan's Diary

I truly enjoyed learning about Alan's last few years...happy he remained alert until the next to last day; I'm sure that was difficult for him, knowing he didn't have long left...so sorry for the pain he went through. I will " always" remember him, both as Alan and Snape.💕
