Just like being at a show

Just before COVID-19 locked us all away, I had the pleasure of seeing Leslie’s one man show in Hillcrest, San Diego, California. Leslie is a talented actor who always puts a smile on my face. His show was amazing. The audience was eating out of his hands. Some of the stories in this book are ones he told in his show. Some were new to me. Leslie Allan Jordan is a skilled raconteur with his delightful Southern accent. Normally, I buy books as opposed to audiobooks. But to hear Leslie tell his stories is something not to be missed.

Entertaining happiness

Leslie went viral because he was relentlessly upbeat and entertaining at a time we needed thet. He is a great storyteller and always funny. He is the kind of person you would love to be around. We all should be so lucky to have someone like him in our life. It is sad he was taken from us so sudden;y, The world is a little less happy without him to lift our spirits. This book, read by him, is just what you need if you are feeling down as it is guaranteed to make you laugh and brighten your day.

I cried so many times through smiles listening to Leslie Jordan himself tell his story. It was beautiful and truly made me believe we can hear from angels even after they are gone.

Great short listen for his fans

I needed a break after listening to a particularly dark crime novel, and this was perfect. I don’t like to spend my credits on short listens and got this as a daily deal offering which was a nice bonus. The stories were mostly fun and light with emotional bits sprinkled throughout. I’m not sure if someone who isn’t already a fan of LJ would enjoy it as much, but I very much enjoyed learning more about him. And hearing it all in his voice made it even better.
