Judi Dench and Brendan O’Hea are delightful together , the banter the friendship and the love of Shakespeare is so fun to listen to. I’d been looking to pick another Shakespeare play to listen to and this gave me several choices as well as interest in plays I’d never think I could enjoy. I thoroughly enjoyed it, please listen :)

Perfect for fans of Shakespeare

I pre-ordered this months ago, and have been waiting for it for months. it arrived on April 23, the day on which we celebrate Shakespeare's birthday, and I listened to the whole thing in one day. I enjoyed every minute of it.

Fascinating Conversation and Much Laughter

Fantastic conversation between two legends of the Shakespearean stage. Fascinating, hilarious and thought provoking. I also learned a great deal. Utterly superb audiobook.

Brilliant!

Brilliant!! I have both the audiobook and the signed copy. Loved hearing it too . I learned new layers and perspectives through Judi’s eyes and Brendan’s coaching with great questions. Loved the friction and open friendship between them.

The Plays Are the Thing!

In addition to the fascinating insights into performing Shakespeare, the actress portraying Judi Dench sounded uncannily like the Great Dame. Although I am an English teacher of 41 years, an Anglophile, occasional actor, and Shakespeare aficionado, I admit to not having read all the plays. This introduction has put them on my literary bucket list. The concluding podcast with an often irascible Dame Judi is a gem in itself! Stay Dench!
