Just don't analyze it too closely

Ok, I know this fiction but, some fine too comes across as somewhat plausible and other fiction, not so much. The development of this relationship is more unrealistic than most romances. Yes, the story was very predictable, also. It doesn't mean that a reader /listener can't still enjoy the fantasy. The first book, in the series, was better written but I enjoyed the second one enough to get the third book, when it comes out.
The Narator, Aiden Snow, did this Alpha male flawlessly. He also did a beautiful job with the Italian. I don't know for sure but, I'm going to guess that Mr. Snow speaks Italian as a first or second language. worth a credit? I think so.

Luca and Gabrielle

Nico’s story was fantastic but Luca’s was even better. I was in the edge of my seat the entire time. This is definitely a page turner. The sizzling, sensual, and seductively beautiful chemistry between Luca and Gabrielle was perfection. This story had the perfect amount of intrigue, tension, suspense, and of course romance. I absolutely loved this book.
Narration was fantastic, Aiden Snow is always amazing. I loved listening to his deep, alluring voice.

Luca and Gabrielle are perfect together!

This steamy story was filled with an alpha male falling in love with the enemy and it all coming up with the happily ever after ending that I love. The writing of a mafia romance was flawless despite the fact that he falls in love with the enemy, a police detective and somehow it all works out. I also love the narration. It was beautiful when he spoke Italian and I loved that too. I can't recommend this book with enough praise. It was fantastic and as close to perfect as I can imagine.

I LOVE THIS SERIES. Holy crappola! Aiden Snow can read my name in any book and I’d be hooked. Well it wouldn’t matter if he read the phone book. Still, this series so so passionate and raw. Love the guys! Love the stories! I’m going to need more.

A FANTASTIC ACTION-PACKED MAFIA ROMANCE

Sarah Castille's back with her second book about Sin City's Italian Mafia family and this time it's Nico's capo Luca who finds love in the least likely place. In book 1 Luca had put himself in front of a bullet meant for Nico and, in this book, the handsome charismatic sexy Italian Playboy is recovering well in hospital with the help of some very willing nurses. Luca had been betrayed by a woman before so now he's strictly a 'one and done' kinda guy - never letting his walls down and, because of his looks and abundant charm, he's never had any problems. Until a blonde angel is wheeled in to share his hospital room - her looks had him intrigued.. but it was her feisty attitude that made her unforgettable. And, when she walked into his Restaurant a few weeks later, Luca knew he had to have her.. but this time once just isn't going to be enough for this crime boss.

However, they are both determined to take Garcia down - no matter the cost.. and to make their relationship work - no matter what sacrifices have to be made.. and there will be sacrifices.

Sacrifices, Mafia ultimatums, a delusional dangerous enemy, a close and loving Italian family including Luca's six yr old son, shocking revelations and a brutal beating have all been well thought out, expertly described and perfectly placed in between the covers of this wonderfully intense forbidden love story. And, with each carefully positioned pitfall, it's purpose is to chill, to thrill, to excite, to shock, to incite havoc and to trip the captivated listener up as you slowly make your way to the finish line.

They were complex likeable characters and this particular love match was forged from the ashes of past relationships, adversity, bloodshed, wise-guy angst, a bitter betrayal and relationship based drama. There was a bit of humor, lots of sex, character development, sweet sentiments - whether they were heated passion-filled romantic words, sweet declarations of love or the uncertain promises of better tomorrows - they all sounded wonderful in Italian. A captivating stand-alone dual (and ocassionally triple) POV second book in the series that gave me butterflies, made me drool, made me smile, made me tense and gave me goosebumps as I eagerly watched the hero and heroine innocently meet and hopelessly fall in love despite so many obstacles working against them. Sarah Castille's book is good.. but the audio version was awesome thanks to the phenomenal voice of Aidan Snow whose smooth sexy Italian phrases left me swooning.

Worth a credit? YES absolutely I couldn't listen to it fast enough yet didn't want it to end and it made me want to listen to Nico's book again.

Oh MY GOODNESS!! AIDEN SNOW'S VOICE. MAKES IT EVEN BETTER. Watch out Sebastian York. You have competition now!

LOVE THIS MAFIA SERIES

This book is just as good as the first. I'm loving this mafia series and can't wait for the rest. This is a thrilling book that will keep you entertained. Luca is drawn to the sexy police detective Gabrielle and in the mafia world that is a big no no. Sarah Castille knows how to bring Luca and Gabrielle together with some hot, passionate sexy times. I do wish we could've visit Nico and Mia from the first book a little more. As always Aiden Snow did an amazing job bringing all these characters to life.

This narrators voice will make you melt....

I loved everything about this book. But the narrator made it even better. He can read anything to me.
