fabulous real life instruction

I gleaned so much valuable knowledge and practice from Sharon Salzburg's book. I will listen to it a 2nd time taking notes and making Lovingkindness my daily practice. The addendum brought it all together for me with joy and gratitude that yes, this is my life practice. Thank you Sharon.

Found it very confirming. I enjoyed hearing basically what I already know. I need to remind myself constantly

I have read this book several times over the years. Sharon Salzberg has given so much to the world and this book is an excellent bed side companion. I have been doing the exercises daily for years. They are so simple yet so impactful. They changed the way I relate to the world and difficult people.

Great introduction and call to action to lovingkindness

Loved this book. Great philosophical points and great exercises to continue my practice. I recommend to all who are interested in meditation, lovingkindness, and/or those working to bring happiness to the world.

The Absolute WORST narration of any audiobook ever

This book might have contained great teachings about loving kindness but the author’s voice is so flat, dull and uninspired that it detracts from the message. I truly have never heard a worse book narration.
I tried increasing the playing speed but it didn’t help at all.
Since I bought this audiobook from audible instead of using credits to get it, I’m not eligible for a refund.
Very, very disappointed in this offering from such an esteemed teacher and the audible refund policy for purchased books. I willl most likely never purchase anything from Sharon Salzberg again.

Preachy and not easily accessible. Hard to listen to her monotone manner of speech. So many other authors explain and inspire better.
