A bit drawn out

This book in the series was ok. It was drawn out and repetitive at times. The female narrator didn’t use much emotion. Made it hard to stay focused. Fingers crossed that the next book in the series is better.

Emotional and Deeply Romantic

This entry to the Townsend Legacy series is so different from the others I've read.

Yes, we still have an absolute Alpha who will burn the world down for his woman. Yes, she is a power, fierce business woman who can take care of herself. But this one had some special sauce. This one was a Friends to Lovers and even more than that, it starts off with Diego proposing an experiment of a very certain kind. Give him three months to make Monique love him.

Somehow Monique had been oblivious to what everyone else can see so clearly but Diego isn't waiting anymore. Now that she's back in their city and within his reach. Now that he is in the job he should be. Now that she is working on her dream art gallery.

He's taking what was always meant to be him. Because even though he says he's only asking for three months? Well, we all know it's for forever.

It was captivating to watch. Diego loves her so good. He is devoted and protective. Possessive and caring. There isn't an inch of him that isn't working towards their future happiness. I was swooning all the way through.

Monique also lives with Type 1 Diabetes and has been made to feel like a burden by previous partners. The way he systematically works to dismantle that believe was beautiful to watch. It truly brought tears to my eyes. I loved it.

I really found this story to be so powerful. Tiffany Patterson is making a life long fan out of me.

Narrated by J. Shani Michaels & Sean Crisden to absolute perfection. Both of their voices were so infused with emotion and realness. I loved their performances so much.

Great story somewhat predictable but enjoyable, thanks for bringing awareness to type 1 diabetes this is very important

Would you make a deal with your best friend if it could get you all you ever wanted, but at the same time cost you everything you love?

Monique and Diego were best friends since childhood. Diego was Monique's protector. Then one day her world view changed and she changed all their plans. Diego's world changed. Years later and there's a chance things can be put back on the path it should have been on. Diego seizes a chance to make his world what it should have been. All it took was A screw up, some bad luck, and a move back home.

Things are different now. Diego is a grown man. And Monique still has a lot on her shoulders but this time she will have some help to carry the load.

Diego was dangerous but I felt that with the others from the family. He could have been more dangerous. I must hand it to him. He was creative with punishment.

Sean Crisden set the male voices off just right. I was in love. His range give you the voice that could wet panties.

These two are kinda goofy. Diego was VERY obviously obsessed with Monique, but Monique played coy way too long. I understand not having self-confidence, but I feel like Diego was very good at reassuring her that he wanted her. Other than that hang up, I loved these two. Their friendship and the care he has for her is so perfect. The audio was wonderful!

Overall it was great. Didn't like how Monique KEPT going on and on and on and on about how she felt like she was a burden to everyone including Diego when the ppl that love her, including Diego, never gave her a reason to feel that way. Absolutely LOVE the love making scenes!

The narrators delivery was amazing!!❤️

I've read the book several times, but hearing the how the narrators performed just pulled me in. I adored Diego and Monique's story. Just perfect. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️

What an amazing story and audiobook!!

Love Me by Tiffany Patterson is book two in the Townsend Legacy series. I went into this book not knowing what it was about and finished this audiobook loving it so much. If you like childhood friends to lovers, chronic illness representation, emotional scars, found family, best friends, mental health rep, BDSM, he falls first, touch her and die, possessive MMC, then you will love this book.

Diego and Monique have been best friends since they were kids, they even (as their parents put it) have their own language. Monique suffers from diabetes and the glucose monitor that’s on her arm is programmed to her phone, Diego takes it upon himself to program it to his phone as well to keep an eye on her numbers. Monique was born out of SA, once she found out it changed her life and the way she saw herself. Her stepfather raised her and loved her like she was his own, never making her feel like she was not his. Diego was born out of an affair. He never cared for his bio father, his father never made him feel like he was good enough to be his kid. His step father loved and treated him like Diego was his kid and never made him feel he wasn’t. They know each other so well and their chemistry between these two is off the charts. I love how Diego will do anything for Monique or hurt anyone who hurts her no matter the consequences.

I enjoyed this story so much, Tiffany did such an amazing job with the storylines and plot. I feel the characters were done so well, the parents, especially their dads were amazing. The dads had me laughing. The narrators J. Shani Michaels and Sean Crisden did such an amazing job they were Diego and Monique. I could not stop listening to this audiobook and it had me hooked from the beginning. Great Cast!

Monique and Diego have been lifelong best friends. Their relationship blossoms into more when they can no longer suppress their attraction to each other. Even though Diego and Monique’s story deals with some serious topics, their story was very sweet. The way they loved each other was perfect. I really enjoyed their story and that the issues they struggle with throughout are from outside sources and not each other. I loved Diego. I found Monique to be annoying for a majority of the book but eventually won me over. I’m looking forward to completing the rest of this series and attacking Ms. Patterson’s back catalog. I was able to listen to the audible version of LOVE ME and I, well, loved it. Great cast.
