Great story!

Really good story! Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Love the characters and the fact that conflicts don't have simple solutions. Magic system and power level are really well done. I really like the fact that he tells you the power increases without having to constantly provide detailed stats. This really helps keep the focus on the story rather than trying to have the reader memorize a large set of numbers.

I really like the narration but he does get out of character in some parts. not a big deal not it is noticeable.

The world gets bigger, and more exciting

As the team leaves the Academy for an adventuring semester the danger is ramping up both in the dungeons and outside them. This second book was a great follow-up. The characters continue to grow and evolve and become more intriguing. I continue to enjoy the series and will be waiting for updates on book 3.

I really like the pacing so far.

I like the story so far just not the aggressive cliffhanger at the end ,but overall good story with an interesting power system 👍.

Awesome series so far

Not gonna lie I was a bit hesitant. However, this was entertaining as heck and cannot wait for the next!

I need the next book...

this is my favorite series so far by far. I've gotten pretty picky recently as well so that says a lot.

Great story with lots going on good character, lots of intrigue, however the story left you hanging without knowing what happened to any of the main characters

A great installment

Strongly recommend this book. The pace and plot points were well done and the characters felt relatable and interesting. The narration was fantastic Pavi Proczko did a great job as usual. The only criticism I have is trying to make a random minions death a critical matter of self doubt. It came off as slightly arbitrary. I’m looking forward to see how this series continues and where it leads.

Excellent in multiple ways

Excellent overall story! Probably 4.5 but better than others in the genre I have rated 4.0 so I upped it. (The first installment was a pure 5.) The development of Rowan's team is key, and character development starred. That includes the teacher Rowan is apprenticed to, even with a modest role. One of the team members is seriously over the top in self-righteous judgment, but I recovered from my disgust... This is a star series in 'progression fantasy adventure.' The narration from Pavi Procxko is superb. A nice, long book, worthy of a credit.

Cliffhangers are bad, and you should feel bad.

Yeah, cliffhangers are not fun. Especially when there is so long between books. Other than that the book was fine.
