What a story but the ending was crazy i did not see that coming I truly enjoy this book great story.

Clare's Best Yet

When I first began this audiobook, I had a hard time adjusting to James Marsters' narration style. However, the struggle was short-lived. His beautiful narration strikes perfectly between performance and straight-forward. I have enjoyed fewer narrators than Marsters.

The book itself takes it's place among Cassandra Clare's best. Her writing is better than ever and her characters are well developed. No character feels like a cheap rip off of another previous character, which is impressive with the sheer volume of main characters this book contains. Every character is complex and three dimensional.

I would recommend this audiobook to anyone, and recommend this series even to those who may not have enjoyed Clare's previous works.

I can't believe the end. hope the next one is on its way soon. Love the shadow hunter books, all of them.

I'm speechless.... utterly speechless.... this is by far the BEST of ALL of the Shadowhunter novels. Cassie has completely outdone herself with this one. As soon as I'm done typing this, I'm starting this book over again. I haven't felt this moved by a book since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! I laughed, I cried, and was on the edge of my literary seat the ENTIRE TIME! Cassie, my girl, if you ever see this, Giiiiiiiirl YOU DID THAT!!!! You wrote the HELL outta this one!!!

Brilliant! What an enjoyable story! The emotion and magic... it really allows your imagination to flow along with it. This book series as well as the Infernal Devices have been my favorites. Not so much The Mortal Instruments. Bravo! I have already pre ordered the 3rd book!

This book is so good. If you are a fan of Cassandra Clare, this is a must!!!
This story will pull at your heart and be prepared for a ending that you don't fully see coming.
The issues in this book is so relevant to our past, present and future. I love the progress nature of the themes in the book. Tolerance is key.
Thank you for another amazing story, cant wait to see where this will go in the 3rd book.
