One of the best of Pickett series if not the best. And I have heard them all.

my husband are reading all of Joe Pickets books. We are enjoying them in order

not a fan of the reader

the narrator didn't have a voice range, characters didn't sound like they should. I love Joe Picket, but didn't associate voice to him.

Great read

Excellent story. This is great hammock literature. Vivid characters and good plotting, plus a genuine sense of the locale.

What I expect from Joe Picket

I enjoyed this story line as usual of a Joe Picket story. I did get a little confused on the Sherif reason to blame Nat. but otherwise very entertaining.

Never a bad book by C J Box

Joe Pickett and Nate Romanowski always come out on top, even though it gets your blood pumping most of the time.

Getting better and better

The book was spell binding. The descriptions of Wyoming made me want to go there and ‘go off the grid”, like Nick. You’ll have to read the book to understand this last reference. Great book.
