Which inevitably means that Baylee's going to have certain hang-ups about being with a man like himself. Sebastian has a lot on his plate with his busy job as a firefighter, a single father, and the vice president of The Dixie Wardens MC. Not enough, though, to keep him away from Baylee.

This was an unique MC Romance. There wasn’t a lot of the story that was actually set in the Club world. There was more of the story that involved the emergency response world. The Hero was a firefighter and the Heroine was a Paramedic.

Their relationship developed somewhat slowly and they definitely had their issues they had to overcome. As is common with MC books, the members were made up of former military personnel. In addition, this club’s members were mainly Firefighters and police officers. Even with so many members being law enforcement, the club still had it’s unlawful side. This is hinted at, but not really discussed in length.

There was definitely some humor that only medical personnel would appreciate and there was also some interesting characters. Weaved into this story was a search for an arsonist causing havoc, in their area.

Is was definitely an entertaining listen and it was even included in the Escape Package.

the problems for the couple were over the top

the man narrator's voice sounds older than the characters. Sebastian best friends died in the military and his ex girlfriend who was carrying his baby fell off the back of his bike. bailey has a blood disease and ADD so they sure have alot of bad stuff going for them which is kind of ridiculous. who cries for 2 hrs over a movie and who goes days with out contacting his pregnant girlfriend cause he's mad at her.

overall good but....

the Hero was starting to pass me off. spoilers ....when he let's a women sit on his lap to wrap his hands and then throws up his hands like what as a response? Ghosts the heroine for 3 days but when she did that gets upset...the herone started strong but got weak by not calling him in his stuff. Hero very self centered. also never addresses the club illegal activities. the book did keep me interested tho. wish heroine stood up More.

Simple and sweet review!! This whole series is nothing short of amazing and I recommend all of these books without hesitation!

The male narrator was awful!! Sounded like an old man instead of a group of motorcycle guys

Love those Dixie Wardens.

Great author and I am a big fan of the series. I am thrilled to have it in audio format. The narrators are good too. LLV is on my auto buy list and I can't wait for more of the Dixie Wardens stories to come out in audibles. I read all of her work and now I am starting my collection of her books in audible format.

This book is the first of the Dixie Wardens series. There's romance, life altering events, intrigue, sexy fun, and of course bad ass bikers. Great story and definitely on all my bookshelves (paperback, electronic, and audible).

Series Winner!

I’m in the process of getting through all the other stories Lani Lynn Vale has written in the past. This gem was so much fun to listen to. Baylee and Sebastian are full of so much passion and easily gravitate to each other. A winner! 5 stars!

An excellent audiobook

It caught my attention from the very beginning. Was hard to put down when I couldn't carry my ereader with me (which I did a lot with my ear plugs in). But life sometimes does allow it . But believe it was a great listen and the narrators were good, giving the book life. I definitely will be reading more in this series.

Kept me on my toes

I absolutely am loving this series. I live the narrators and how they bring the characters to life and the story itself is exciting and engaging.
