I’ve been daydreaming about Eliot Hoffman’s dimples for two months, and even though I’m sure this was a mistake on his end, it doesn’t mean it’s not an opportunity on mine.
It’s the middle of the night, and I just wanna talk to him. So I text him back.
And then somehow we keep talking…ALL NIGHT. We’re both insomniacs, so talking all night soon turns into talking EVERY night. And talking about nothing soon turns into talking about something. And here we go from in-depth analysis of reality TV to my relationship with my family, to his amazing artwork. There’s no topic we don’t cover....

An Excellent story
Something "clicks" in the reader's heart when a story is so well balanced. Sometimes, the plot idea is solid, but the characters lack definition, etc... Here everything is exactly right. The result is an endearing, very vivid and exciting love story. The reader is never boredor confused because there is such a solid foundation. My favourite things about Sweet Talk are : the suspense, the plot twists, the dual narrator POV, and the conscious efforts to debunk gender stereotypes and mainstream concepts like "normal" or ""disabled".

LOVED THIS BOOK!
I absolutely adored the first book and the second was just as good! her dialogue writing is so realistic and I'm always a sucker for a Chris Brinkley narration. the narrators were so great and they had me smiling the whole time! definitely recommend! I'll be listening to this again and again!

I loooved it!
I'm a super busy mom of 2 babies under 5 and every free moment I got I ran to listen! It's such a cute (accidental) romance. Very entertaining and such an easy listen. I highly recommend! Once I finished this book I immediately downloaded another, Cara Bastien book, "Call me maybe" and started listening!
