I didn't even finish it

When I started the book, the main character had big brown eyes and her bedroom was on the main floor of her house. Halfway through the book she had green eyes and her bedroom was on the second floor. I didn't finish it because the ending was way too predictable.

Great love story

This is the first book I have read by K B Winters. This book had a great storyline and dealt with realistic issues. I would recommend this book.

wonderful surprise!

I had never read anything by this author but got a free copy of her audio book and it was a wonderful surprise. I could not stop listening! Looking forward to the rest of the series, which I am moving onto now!

More Romance, Less MC, No Darkness

It’s hard to call this an MC series intro because nothing revolves around his club or other members. We do meet his brother but not well enough to know him. I’ll just have to see how the series evolves.

Can the quiet girl save the broken ex-Seal?

Ex-Navy Seal, Max Collison, is attending an art class as part of his therapy for his PTSD. There he meets the lovely, albeit insecure, Jana, whom he is immediately drawn to. Jana lives her life in obscurity, ever since her foster father attacked her and scarred her face. She is brilliant and beautiful but she doesn't see it...until Max convinces her. It took me a while to warm up to Max because he was a real douche in the beginning. Good for Jana that she made him work a bit for her forgiveness. Max doesn't believe that he is worthy of anything since he was unable to save his brothers in arms...typical survivor's guilt. Jana has worked through her own brokenness but still believes that she will never find someone to see beyond her physical scar. This pair have a lot to work through and with the help of Max's brother, Tate, and Jana's bff, Teddy, they figure out that they're good for each other. Sweet HEA.

No groveling

The story had great potential and started off strong. My only problem is that Max acts like an asshole several times and then barely apologizes but she almost immediately forgives him with very little effort on his part. She’s desperate for affection and seems to lose her backbone throughout the story. I wanted her to at least make him work a little for forgiveness.

Pleasantly Surprised!

I've never considered myself a MC Club "Bunny", but this book took me by surprise & was a great read. There's much depth in the characters and story. I'm automatically moving to book 2 in the series.

It’s was good. Not amazing

Everything about this was good but not amazing. Just ok. The narrators are too slow for my pace and the story while good Lacked a tad more Description and depth . But it was ok.

Beautifully Broken

A beautifully heartfelt and endearing journey to go with Max and Jana. I enjoyed every single captivating moment of this story.

Not bad.

This is the first time I've listened to this author. Very good story with great emotional detail. There was no major drama other then ex-soldier suffering from PTSD and coming to terms with their pasts.
