Resumen del Editor

When looting and rioting overwhelm all the major US cities, Afghanistan War vet Ray McGregor makes his way from Michigan's Upper Peninsula to his parents' cattle ranch in Bella Coola, British Columbia, in remote western Canada. Joining him is his old friend Phil Adams, a Defense Intelligence Agency counterintelligence case officer based in Washington State.

Reckless banking practices, hyperinflation, and government negligence have led to an unprecedented socioeconomic collapse in America that quickly spreads throughout the world. Lightly populated Bella Coola is spared the worst of the chaos, but when order is restored it comes in the form of a tyrannical army of occupation. Ray and Phil soon become key players in the resistance movement, fighting the occupiers in a war that will determine not only their own personal survival, but also the future of North America.

Liberators depicts a world that is all too conceivable and terrifyingly familiar. Fast-paced and packed with authentic information on outdoor survival, self-sufficiency, and small-unit tactics, James Wesley, Rawles's latest thriller will resonate with his dedicated fanbase and encourage new readers to prepare for anything from lesser disasters to the dreaded worst-case scenario.

Started off well

Too many descriptions of the weapons and vehicles for to be fun.The first part of the story is very entertaining but the latter 60% was a bore mostly due to over descriptions of weapons and vehicles1 million acronyms for a bunch of stuff that is not important

This is a resistance to invasion idea book

Look you know why your here... And there's good food for thought within. It's another side Story like survivors but it rarely touches the Idaho group. Better than survivors and the stupid bicycle pilot love fest.

Another Great Book from JWR.

Another great installment from Mr Rawls. JWR is by far the best with TEOTWAWKI fiction and non-fiction. I’ve listened to each book multiple times and enjoy it every time. Lots of useful tips built into an entertaining story. I’d like to see more additions from JWR.

Classic Rawlesian novel

What made the experience of listening to Liberators the most enjoyable?

I was fortunate enough to proof read a beta copy and hearing the fruits of all that work (by James not me) was great.

What did you like best about this story?

The continuity with the other novels of the Coming Collapse is impressive. The amount of well researched localities, character development and the general theme is a good primer to one possible future here in america and as such is quite a good read.

Which character – as performed by Eric G. Dove – was your favorite?

Ray McGreggor is a classic Rawlesian character with military background, godly grounded and libertarian to the core.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes but that would be quite a difficult undertaking.

Ok time waster

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

not really, story line was a bit of a bore

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

More plot, less info on weapons and the ammo they use

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Yes but nothing special

Could you see Liberators being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Perhaps with a major re-write

Great story with some real-life info thrown in

I really enjoyed how this book brought in new characters but tied back to characters from previous books as well! Great addition to the series!

Chock Full Of Ideas

The listener will need a pen and pad to copy down the plethora of technical, tactical, and strategic information presented by the author.

Entertaining and imaginative.

Think 'Red Dawn' (the newer one) with a hardcore survivalist flare. It is a bit cheesy in parts but if you want serious buy 'The Road' by Cormac McCarthy (and some anti-depressants). Entertaining enough that I listened to it at the gym and while driving. It only got a little off-kilter in the very last chapter as it described the new ultra-important, A#1, all lifestyles revolve around the gun role of firearms in post-"crunch" American society... But besides that very entertaining and I am happy to support J. W. R.

Not the usual Rawles entertainment

This is not typical of Rawles! His characters are usually more developed and the situations compelling enough to keep me turning pages as fast as I can. This is more a process narrative for how to resist the coming global elite takeover. Much about guns, their care and uses, prepping for civilization ending scarcity, quotations and monologues to give patriots the will to fight, and what and where to look for a place to hold out against the war on liberty. Most of Rawles’ books are like that, but this is not for the uninitiated prepper, and is much less story and more instruction. I think it’s a valuable book, and a good read for the prepper who believes that skills and knowledge are at least as important as your stash of goods. You can learn an awful lot from this book while moving along with a story. It’s kind of like “Red Dawn” with with many fairly long breaks to explain how to use a gun, where to find and how to disguise a base, how to deal with the enemy when moving around, and al the rest of the survival skills you need.
