Interesting use of letters to drive the plot. Narrator - good at differentiating voices. Good.

Great Story

I loved this story; however, I think it could have been a little bit shorter and dragged a little near the end. There were times that I thought Bella was too harsh and wanted to slap her for certain comments. I thought she was too uptight. Totally understood Noah and why he was scared to commit.

wonderfully enduring

The story touches families all over the nation who can fill the shoes and the ones who just have hardship in their lives. The beautiful romance that blossoms the way it does give hope that you too may be blessed someday with love like that over all circumstances.

Great Story

Such a sweet love story about love conquers all. Surprised twists and turns. The narrator MAKES the story.

Made me cry

This was so much more than I expected. The characters are very well developed. Angsty sweetness. Loved it

Awful narrator

Loved the story but the narrator is terrible! Made it through halfway and couldn’t continue listening. I’ll have to finish reading the book.

Not the Soraya Lane I know. Disappointing

SL has such amazing talent in her books that are historical fiction. The Last Correspondent, The London Girls, Hearts of Resistance that I felt this was an enormous letdown from what I’ve come to expect. The book was ok. Sex sex sex- it was like a harlequin novel almost. And though the plot itself was ok, and the letters from Bella’s sister added a neat twist, really this book could have been written by anyone. Disappointed. Bella was also hard to like until the very end where she finally appeared to be an actual lovable human being. I’m sorry- I wish I could have given a better review

Too predictable

I struggled to finish, it was too predictable. The narrator was forced and hard to listen to.
