Honest sharing in humility
Both David and Mart shared stories from their own lives that illustrated the points being conveyed in the chapters. These were the things that made the ideas presented come alive and I am sure will be remembered in the time to come.

Confirmation of God’s Word.
I love this book. Listening to it on audible allowed me to spend time in the presence of God and be taught how to be loved by God, which is most important to me.

The truth about learning to be loved.
This is one of the best explanations of what it means to be loved by God. I had a similar background to this author and that made the book more compelling to me. I think it would revolutionize the church as a whole if we could grasp this!

Great Insight
This concept of God’s love for me has always perplexed me. Bowden helped me to understand God’s love. I’m still not there yet. This is one of those books that’s so rich with insight that I have to read it again and again.

A must read for all Christians
This is such a wonderful book full of wisdom and reminders of how much God loves us. This would also be perfect for someone new to faith or returning to their faith.

Unlearn / Learn helped me to focus on the truth I needed to learn in the following writings.
David and Mark did a wonderful job of helping anyone understand these truths. I believe this is a book that you can read a chapter a day and then starting over and re-readings a chapter a day. Thank you David and Mark.

Be open to the gateways that God wants to show you his love 
David’s descriptions and examples of the identified gateways that God wants to use to show his love to us. Were awesome! 
Mart’s “ stories” however, at times were a bit difficult to relate to. I’m sure he is a wonderful man of God, but the spheres  of influence he has being a multimillionaire, let’s face it, are mostly out of reach for us who live as the common man.
