Fine sequel,but the first book was better

I found the first book in the series stunning. so I bought all the rest of the series. This second one kind of dragged on for me. Can't really say why, as I liked the characters the author is developing the story around. There was action, but for some reason I found it a bit boring in comparison to the first book. I will read the 3rd in the series, and hope that it returns to the spectacular style of the first.

Extraordinary

I have become hooked. This author is very engaging and makes me try to anticipate whether or not I have foreseen what he is trying to write. I am no where close. He has engaged my imagination to the impossible and at the end he throws you a curve ball. But if you where listening then you wonder if that curve ball will be discovered later.

The second book was good too! I’ve listened to both 1 & 2 in about 4 days. I’m about to start 3

Events far out enough to be sci-fi, but not too far out, and a plot line that moves along!

Geopolitical aspects were too stereotypical, but other than that the book is very enjoyable. Thanks!

fast pace, interesting, explanations of sci-fi stuff is short and to my very non-science mind easy to grasp the basic idea.

great imagination of author. fun to think about things that don't exist yet and their possible implications and ramifications for the future.

Believable but stops short of being too techy to bog the story down. Good series so far.
