Repetitive

I like Mr Whited's style of writing, however this book and the one before started to be the same story over and over again. Book 1 & 2 were great...book 3 & 4 seemed to be the same as 1&2 but with slightly different characters. The end of this book certainly makes me feel better as to the direction of our beloved Eric. Without giving spoilers, I do like how he's changing as a character. Fingers crossed!

Great story, but dear old Eric never learns

There has been several moments I've ranted and raved about the main character being a coward, while at other times complimenting his ability to hold back. This is a great story, but Eric really never learns. For being so incredibly intelligent but short on common sense, the question is this: isn't it better to mitigate harm and be willing to be a little bad, rather than be pushed so hard that you eventually explode and do a whole lot of bad?

It happens repeatedly now. How many does he have to lose and how many times does he have to be broken, before he'll drop the high horse or stop the cowardly act?

Hopefully not too many more books. It's an annoyingly repetitive theme.

I love Kind Hearted Vampires

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

To be able to move a mountain, to travel abroad, really abroad, to be able to have the tendrils of my love reach out and touch those with whom I share intense feelings. That is all captured here. Sean Runette is the reason I purchased the1st Nightlord. I love the sarcasm he emotes.; “I feel safe in the that warm embrace” Thank you Mr. Runette, in turn it brought me to this series. and Wow. I love commitment. Both in an author and a story. Mr. Whited, thank you for creating a character that is fallible. His “I don't want to be in charge or the kingdom” vs. Oh goodness if you want anything done right.... I am thankful that you have created a ”world” that I can immerse myself in. I am a great believer in a well told tale. Characters that aspire to be better even though they could be perceived as evil. If you believe in that stuff. But is anyone truly evil because of “hard choices”? Anyhow, there are magicians and wizards (not the same) and vampires and killer mammals. There are robots and ROBOTS. There are Queens and Goddess' and Knights - Nights. Thank you again! Now I must get back to drowning out my co-workers. Thanks for the relationship. I think we should continue.

What does Sean Runnette bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Well. meh.. everything. He is the reason I started the series. Then the story took over. NO one does sarcam as well as my buddy Sean. Smoochies. Sean is the guy I never fired. wanted to, but he makes my life more interesting.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Nope, but let me tell you. Perfect for keeping the clucking hens at the office outta my headspace.

You might be tempted to start here, and it's all good. But then you will get through it and go, but who is Tort? and why should I care? Then you will go back and get the ones you missed. Buy the extra credits and download all of them. It is so worth it. I am gonna tell you, It is perfect for what ever you do. Plane rides, long drives, daily commute, laundry, house cleaning, mowing the lawn. He has been with me almost everywhere. The story is excellent and guys... yup, I have even learned how to play a better game of Risk because of STRATEGERY *wink*

This book is a reminder of what can happen to us if there is a different story but it can happen.

The whole book was good and it’s hard to put down you got to get sucked into it. Onto the next track can’t wait

Love the story and reader, some might find the story a bit Long, but that is one of the reasons I love it.

Love this series

At first I thought this might be the last book of the series. The way it ends leaves you hanging. Who killed the children? Why is the mountain reserving power? What about the child ghost? And many more questions left unanswered. Hope the 5th book comes out real soon.

I love your creativity your story lines. I love the world you've built. But if I hear another am I a good monster line I'm going to cry. I know several people who have started the series on my recommendation but can't get past all of the self-reflective whining. Please stop that. so I can't wait for the next books.
