amazing story
this book was fantastic. angst, mafia, drama, spicy scenes. loved every minute of it. both narrators were perfect. they had emotions and excitement and held my attention from the start.

Fantastic
I loved this audiobook. The storyline compelling and well written. The narrators very much captured the character personalities. Rex was super hot. Katerina was strong and independent. Her only weakness is wanting to protect her family who may not feel the same about her. This ends on a cliff hanger, so I need to listen to the next book!

Disappointed 😞
WOW, I’ve read this author before so some of her other books are much better. This book for me had too many characters-right off the bat. And if you’re looking for hot and sexy this is not it. Made it till the end and they still hadn’t hooked up. The main story line seemed to go on and on. I’m Stopping at book 1.

Good narration, but never connected with the story
I am a sucker for mafia and arranged marriage stories, but I never really connected with this one. From pretty much chapter one, it seemed like there was history between the two main characters, a history that was important to their relationship, but unknown to us as readers. And that caused a confusion that I never got past, which I assume led to me not enjoying the story. Enough so, that even with the cliffhanger, I sadly have no interest in picking up book 2.
