the stories were compelling, I never thought people could be so evil. Mothers just cold and evil. How can you treat your OWN children that way, they all got what they deserved.

Well chosen mix of stories.

I love this series. The stories are well told, the narrator has a good voice for crime tales, and I haven’t heard most of them before. This 5 volume set is a great value. I want more.

Loved the stories! The narrator seems monotone at first, but you get used to it and I ended up really liking his voice.

I love the author’s style!

True crime is a tough topic to write about but it fascinates me for a number of reasons and this author’s work really captures the essence of each story makes them all compelling.

Great listen!

Succinct yet importantly detailed overview of many cases; some you’ve heard of and many lesser known crimes. It keeps you interested throughout. You don’t want to turn it off even while learning about humanity’s worst offenders and the innocent people they harm.

I liked the amount of details in each case, although each was truncated, the stories were informative and kept my attention.

Horrible narrator

Narration is so robotic that it’s a struggle to get into the content. Could not finish.

Tons of cases

This five-book set contains 100 different cases around the world. Some cases are very well-known, some vaguely familiar and some band new (to me). I liked how the author presented all the cases in a concise, well written manner. I look forward to reading more from this author.
