Who was your favorite character and why?

Kate, she is super cool!

What does Caitlin Kelly bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love Caitlin in every performance...she is a great narrator!!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

This would be a cute movie...hate this question though...stop asking audible! lol

Kate is a talented thief, and when a job goes wrong end up in a really crazy and dangerous situation..her apartment gets broken into, her dog gets dog-napped and she ends up wanted for questioning in a murder...she has to go on lamb! She digs in and starts investigating and uncovers a whole bunch of interesting things...and with some help from a few friends ends up clearing her name and getting her dog back!

Kate is great!

Great story funny, fun, twists, overall great. I will want to keep reading this series to see what else Kate will be involved in. Caitlin Kelly was incredible. I really enjoyed her narration. I will be listening to more for sure read by Caitlin.
I received this audio book with the understanding that I would give an honest review.

I want more!

I loved everything about the dynamics in this book. On the surface Kate is a jewel thief who has to use her wits to get her out of falsely being charged for a murder she didn't commit. But on a deeper level I saw she is also witty, strong, capable & kindhearted. Her career in jewelry thievery began out of a need for a deeper good. The more I learned about Kate the more I sympathized, and although I knew she was a jewel thief I glossed over that. It was a "non issue" very soon after I dove into the story.
The story itself has lots of action almost the whole way through. Kate's life gets turned upside down when her dog gets taken as ransom & she has to go on the run to not get caught. I enjoyed the relationship between her and "D" which felt very authentic and sweet. The narration was done so well, I really felt the different characters. They both came to life individually & the interactions had depth.
I hope there are more books in this series! A strong female lead with a twist makes this series special & I hope to see more. I was provided this as a gift in exchange for my honest review.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Kicks & Stones?

There was so many fun moments it's hard to pick just one. Probably when she has to break into her own apartment. I also love how she can mix the letters up in a word to come up with a new one.

OMG, I love listening to this narrator. She really brings her characters to life and she is just fun to listen to. Anytime I see a book with her as the narrator I'm interested. yes.I would recommend this audio book to a friend. Ithe was anot interesting story and storytelling.

The main character was my favorite, she was very original.
