Started out good but became repetitive

The story started off good, but became predictable. The last couple of books mostly felt like a recycled version of the first couple. I would’ve like more character development. What happened to Charlie’s parents? Why did Charlie’s ex-husband go rogue? I would’ve liked more history on the Inn as well.

I really wanted to like the narrator, but her mispronunciation of the word “library” as “liberry” really start to get on my nerves, especially as so much happened in the library.

Fun and cozy

The grandmother and granddaughter duo is fun. The stories linked together and ended with me wanting to know what’s happening to them now.The narrator has an odd way of sounding out the letters in a word completely.

Enjoyed it very much

I enjoyed the box set very much. The cats, love the cats! I see the characters are in another series which I will listen to also.

Cute

light hearted entertainment that made smile while I worked and listened. I will watch for more of these stories.

Relatable characters.

Love grandma!! Enjoyed listening to over the holiday break. Very entertaining and fun. Some of the plot points were repetitive but not predictable.

It was a good pastime to listen to while I was on vacation. I would recommend to others.

Phenomenally Entertaining Who-Done-It Series

The character development, the writing, the voices, the twists and turns and unexpected angles all combined to create a light-hearted, though very entertaining, mystery series. I look forward to reading more from this author.

the names were creative

cute twists, and great connecting characters. really like gamma. the narrator does a great job at different voices

It was ok.

I won't say it was a terrible listen. I will however say that it was a tough listen. I would've liked a little more background on the main character if nothing else just to fill in some of the repetitive storyline. the accents changes throughout the book, along with the pronunciation of certain words. I would have to say the changing of character names was probably the most disturbing for me though like Jason turned to Jordan and in a previous book the girl that died was referred to by her sisters name. Overall it was meh.

Really good everything

If you like the Miss Fortune series, you will like this. I love that her grandmother is her hero.
