A captivating story of survival and perseverance

A captivating story of survival and perseverance. There is sooo much in this story and it kept me entralled the whole time, on the edge of my seat wondering what was next many times, and other times just rooting for Nico and Selina to get their happy ending. They do get that happy ending after a jagged, winding, mountainous path... but that ending! What a set up for the next book, which I now am impatient to also come out on audio. Narration brought the story to life and made the 'pages' fly by.

Captivating!

This is the second book in the Keeping What's Mine Series, a dark mafia romance. . Nicholas/Nico and Selina's story is entertaining, and suspenseful. Nico is handsome, supportive, and protective. Selina is beautiful, strong, and a brave survivor. My heart broke for her. The storyline is filled with danger, and twists and turns. Alan Stone and Stella Rose did a great job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Keeping My Captive, the next book in the series. #PFPAudio

Nico and Selena

Nico and Selena.

I listened to the audio. I think the narrators did a good job.

I found Selena to be one brave warrior for what she went through almost her entire life. Nico how can you not love him. He and his family save women and children and track down human traffickers. Selena was one of the girls they saved and she stayed with the family til her mom showed up and took her away and Nico has spent a decade looking for Selena. Then at a gala he finds her and ends up saving her again. This is a story of how Selena tries to heal with the help of Nico, their relationship, the man they are trying to track down and the search for a family member. Great Story. The only issue I had was the wording of how everyone enjoyed celebrating I can see acknowledging her birthday but to say they all had fun even though their was an important person missing.

okay this was a good book it's a dark romance, lots happen, full of drama, Suspense, romance and so much more. I promise you will love this book.

Book 2 - Keeping What's Mine

This is book 2 in Snyder's Keeping What's Mine and a good addition to this series. While this can be read / listened to as a standalone, I found it better after listening to book 1 "Keeping My Bride". A dark and captivating mafia romance read that is sure to please in the dark, danger as well as the steam and romance elements. I adored out main characters Nico and Selina. These two have been in love since they were teens and one day Selina was just gone. Nico never stopped looking for her and never dreamed the reality of what happened to her. A beautiful story full of emotion and healing. Great twists and loved the banter. A great mafia read and addition to this series...definitely looking forward to more!

Officially hooked on this series, I think...

The way this is both darkly heart wrenching and hopeful all at once shows some impressive writing and world-building. With everything going on (and it’s a lot), I still couldn’t help but appreciate the writing.

There was also a dichotomy of both light and dark going on—the FMC has been through unspeakable darkness, having spent a decade in captivity, yet literally is light at times for other survivors—well woven, dear author.

Keeping My Girl

Keeping My Girl is the second book in the Keeping What's Mine series. This book is about Nicholas (Nico) and Selina (Lina) and is told from both of their points of view.

Nico and Selina fall in love as kids when she is 13 and his family saves her from being trafficked. She was ripped away from him by her mother. Now 10 years later Nico finds her by accident and kills her captor's son who is also an enemy family. He will do anything to keep her safe.

Selina has been through a lot in those 10 years. She does not trust Nico easily at first. She starts to live again, but her past is still threatening in the shadows. There were so many twists and turns, and I had to know what happened next! Can Lina and Nico get their happy ending? Can Lina learn to trust in Nico? Can Nico keep Lina safe?

I'm excited to see what happens next in this series.

Keeping My Girl

Keeping My Girl is the second book in Keeping What's Mine series. This book can be read as a standalone book, but best following Keeping My Bride. This Nico's book. This is a Mafia, second chance, dark romance. I loved getting Nico's story.

Alan Stone and Stella Rose did a fantastic job narrating this book.

the perfect man for a broken woman

Lina was Nico's childhood sweetheart. After being taken in by his family and given a safe haven, she and Nico became thick as thieves. But soon after, Lina was taken by her mother and never seen again. Now Nico is an adult and still searching for his lost love when he happens upon her while trying to take down a notorious mobster. He, once again, takes her to his family's compound where she is forced to detox and face her trauma. Nico is there with her every step of the way until she learns to trust him again. The way he is so gentle with her, asking for her consent with each new thing, giving her back her life, helping her accomplish goals...ugh it's all so dreamy. But Nico himself is a dangerous guy with a dangerous family, and Lind has never stopped being a target. So you can imagine the kind of sh*t that goes down to threaten their happiness and Lina's recovery, I can't wait for what comes next because there are definitely things left unsolved.

Invested

This is the fourth book I've read/listened to by Angela Snyder. Iam loving her audiobooks. I was invested in this story from the start after listening to book one, but this could be a standalone as well. I was so glad to br traveling when listening so I didn't have many interruptions. My heart raced, clinched, broke, mended, and bloomed during this listen. I CANNOT wait for the next book!!

Alan Stone and Stella Rose are excellent narrators. They had it rolling like a movie in my head. They performed with so much emotion. It was perfection.
