Resumen del Editor

In British Columbia, in the early months of 1980, a young woman is brutally murdered and buried in a shallow grave. Decades later, two hikers discover her remains on the shore of Cold Lake. In an attempt to identify the girl, authorities recreate her physical appearance in a series of sketches released to the public.

Four hundred kilometers away, in the city of Vancouver, one of university professor Nora Devrey’s students hands her a newspaper article that features the Jane Doe police sketch; and the picture appears to be a pencil drawing of Nora.

Growing up, Nora had known she was adopted at birth, but she had never been curious about her biological family. Now, she’s obsessed with learning as much as she can about her origins, and she won’t stop searching until she discovers Jane Doe’s name - any link between herself and the murdered girl.

Pointless story, don't bother

TRIGGER WARNING - R**e, drug abuse, parental abuse.

I'm going to give you the entire book right here so SPOILER ALERT!

Nora, the main character finds out she's adopted at a very young age and shows no interest in her biological parents or history until her late 20's she is presented with and article of a Jane Doe who looks exactly like her and was found at or around the location Nora was found as a newborn. Nora was given up by her mother and tossed in the woods, found by a priest and later adopted by a kind family. There is nothing thrilling in this story. She goes on a hunt to find if Jane Doe is her biological mother and again, spoiler- she is. So what? She find parts of her biological family, her aunt who confirms her dead sisters identity, the case is investigated and that's pretty much how is ends. 7 hours spent on Nora finding out that in fact, her mother is Jane Doe which you find out 4 hours in. There are no redeeming qualities to this book.

Narration- ABSOLUTE ZERO

I never want to hear a single thing from this narrorator again. The voices and impressions were so so bad and she sounded as if everyone's voice was being mocked. The vocal fry was real and at times she even forgot whose voice she was playing and just carried on.

Story- Stupid. Pointless.

This is no thriller, mystery, or anything worth listening to.
