enjoyable read

I enjoyed this book very much.
The character were distinct and easy to follow as the years changed.
My only complaint is that it ended too soon.
I will have to watch for other books by this author.

Great Audio Book!

I really enjoyed this audio book. The scriptures was such a bonus. The end was such a happy kleenex moment. Much needed.

The Silver Suitcase draws one into a family with its own secrets.

This story was very interesting as it went back and forth between several generations, all tied together with the words written in several diaries. The narration was well done. I enjoyed having a good story given to me as I went about my day.

Loved this book!

Maybe I loved it so much because it wasn't my typical read but I can't imagine someone not loving this book! The Silver Suitcase contains the journal of Cornelia which is shared among many to better their understanding of the woman they knew and loved as well themselves. Terri Todd does an amazing job of weaving a heart warming and crushing story of triumph in the face of so many obsticles with God as the characters' guide.

This story was a surprisingly profound gift at a time of turbulence. A reminder of the most basic values that were shared with me by my "Grams" who was a neighbor and treasured friend. I heartily recommend it to anyone who loves social history, personal rebirth, or needs a little bit of help finding their path at any point in their life. By weaving the present and the past with the trials and glories of each, Terri Todd delivers a beautiful story that will pop up in your daily life again and again long after you have finished the book. Kate Rudd's delivery of the audio will envelope you as you weave through the different ages in the lives of some great characters.

What did you love best about The Silver Suitcase?

The Silver Suitcase (Kindle Edition)
This is my first time reading this author. I enjoyed the story line. I also liked how it went from past to present with the diaries. Also, there was a promise that the main character (Corrie) had inferred to that played out surprisingly at the end. I look forward to reading Ms. Todd's other books.

Not a book but a TV series called Early Edition. It was about a man who received a newspaper which foretold the future by one day.

Corrie

Because of her mother's death, Corrie had become bitter against God. But later in her life she had a true spiritual renewal that gave her strength and peace.
