Perfect combo of well written story and excellent narration.

This is the second book in the series and continues with a secondary character as the new lead. I didn’t expect to like the protagonist at all, but now think Daniel might be my favorite in the series. The villain from the first book meets well earned resolution, but with additional complications for Daniel. Eric, the second protagonist, is flawed, compassionate, and complex. Just right. I don’t believe in spoilers, so will just say that I absolutely recommend this book.

I like that both characters are able to find themselves and become better together. Great narrating too! I recommend listening!!

I absolutely love Daniel and Erik’s story. The narrator did an amazing job bringing these characters to life.

Excellent By All Counts

This audiobook was wonderfully performed and truly captivating. I loved the character depth and this authors ability to write stories that transport you to places you’ve never been, yet feel like you’ve never left. Another masterpiece.

Narration is perfect, and this author has a way of spinning a story that you fall in love with the characters and their trials and tribulation and their love just buried itself in your soul
