Wonderful happy story

I truly loved this story, There were so many sweet moments and many laughs, a few tears too. Highly recommended. The narration was really outstanding, and I am particular about the performance so when I say that I really mean it. John Solo brought the story to life. It was really excellent. All around a definite thumbs up.

Not too sugary or too angsty

I enjoyed this audiobook. The trope is a common one, but Keira Andrews puts a unique spin on it with elements of grief, unexpected parenthood, and found family. Logan’s self discovery was believable, but not too angsty. Seth is the kind of character that I think John Solo narrates particularly well, kind of shy but curious and tough when he needs to be. John Solo can be hit or miss for me, but I think he did a really good job here.

Omg The Feels

This author continues to amaze me. Here she took a common trope (fake boyfriends) but elevated it. She nailed the drama of a man discovering his sexuality while dealing with a surly teenager. A plus for the writing and the narration.

enjoyed it

📖 Took me a while to warm up to Logan's character, but overall I enjoyed The Christmas Deal. The pace was good, the characters felt real and the story was well written. 😊 I'd be happy to listen to it again.

🎧 John Solo did a good performance with the characters, he has good inflections and intonations and it was easy to feel the emotions of the story. I did find times when the rhythm was slightly off and the narration felt a little stilted, but it was only a minor thing and not enough to pull me from the story.

A great holiday read/listen

A low-angst, bi-awakening/GFY, single parent, fake relationship, down on his luck guy, Christmas romance.

Excellent narration.
