Am so in love with Flicka & Deiter!

Although there are touches of happy, this is really a sad story with a lot of hurt. As we continue along with Flicka's tale, we find ourselves in Las Vegas as Deiter and Flicka try to remain under the radar and hidden from Pierre's security.

Flicka is trying to recover from Pierre's attack and just live. Deiter isn't happy with Flicka putting herself in the public daily as she tries to make enough money for their food and rent.

Their escape is shortlived, and Flicka is in danger once again.

I love how we are so emotionally invested in Flicka and Deiter. A couple we have been dying for in all the stories surrounding the Hannovers.

I am so looking forward to hearing Deiter's story more fully in the next in this series. And hopefully a HEA for these two!

What happen in vegas doesn' always stays in vegas

Flika goes to work! What fun it watch her try be regular ole working American rather then watch the lil one let him work. The one time he does leave her alone with baby she like "This not in a princess job description!" Time flies when your work and soon it time to go to court. His past comes back again at the best or worst time we don't know as this were once again we left with our jaw hanging down and .. NEXT book!!!

Hooked

Book 3 in the Flicka series has Jason Clarke becoming one of my new favorite audio book performers. He's so good.

Flicka shows us what she is capable of in this installment of her story, much to Dieter's chagrin. No small woodland creatures to help this princess, she has to figure it all out on her own.

Babylon describes life after trauma in a way that felt very real and familiar. Flicka's responses are seemingly illogical and inconsistent and so maddening to someone like Flicka who is used to being in control. The story and the relationship feel like they are gaining intimacy and momentum, and it builds to a twist at the end that made me mad I had to wait for the next one!

Entertaining

I have been addicted to Flicka von Hannover’s story and have devoured them in a matter of days. Having been rescued several times from her dangerous and evil soon to be ex husband, Flicka and Dieter have escaped Europe and are now hiding out in Las Vegas.
However Pierre's secret service are on the trail, knowing that she must submit divorce papers to the court in Las Vegas. After another kidnapping attempt is thwarted by Dieter, the feelings that have been just beneath the surface finally boil over and they succumb to their feelings that are just as intense as they were in the past.
After the surprises at the end of the previous book, we get to learn more about Dieter’s past. As with the other books, there are numerous twists and turns that left me shaking my head.
Lucy Rivers and Jason Clarke continue to do justice to the story that Ms.Babylon has created and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

In a Faraway Land

I think this has been my favorite part of Flicka's story! Seeing her strength and determination as she fought for her independence in Nevada was so good. I loved the humorous bits too about a royal attempting normal everyday life tasks like laundry. I LOVED the judge!! Seeing Pierre get a bit of what is coming to him made me giddy.
I cant wait for the next part of Flicka and Dieter's journey!

Flicka & Dieter set my pulses thumping and my, um... urges a jumping. And their story isn't over yet! Another great offering from Blair Babylon. Only wish we could get to see Flicka & Dieter's adventures on a movie screen. Lucy Rivers and Jason Clarke are awesome in the audio

Life Can be Hard Yet Rewarding

In a Faraway Land is a deeper look into the characters of Flicka and Dieter. You find there is something much more to both then meets the eye, and you fall just a little more in love with them. Dieter is more then just a bodyguard, and Flicka is more then just his person to protect. Through the danger hounding them, they must decide how they see the other and where they will go from here.

Lucy Rivers and Jason Clarke begin to show us the depth and breath of their talents. We are gifted the beauty and delight of their voices as they show us just how powerful and meaningful the human voice is in bringing such a phenomenal story to life and keeping it alive with excitement and passion.

Beautifully Done! 3rd in Series and More to Come!

Blairs writing keeps you invested in her worlds, book 3 of Flicka and Deiter's journey is no exception. So much action unfolds in this audiobook and it is beautifully narrated by the talented Lucy Rivers and Jason Clarke. Spoiler.... Flicka gets her divorce but lands in another heap of trouble to tease us to crave At Midnight. Be prepared. At times sensitive and touching and other times tense and dangerous, this is yet again a great example of excellent story telling.

Enjoyed Book 3 - Runaway Princess Series

Story was well written and kept me listening. Makes me want to take a trip to Monaco. Definitely need to read (listen) to the other books in the series first. Can’t wait to find out what happens to Flicka!

In a Far Away Land

This is the third installment. The main focus is on the couple's time in Las Vegas to establish residency. I admit, that is a rather dry description, but this book is anything but. You will love it. The story is exciting and the actors do a wonderful job. I recommend this story. I received an ARC and I am voluntarily reviewing this Audible performance.
