A gift from my job that keeps on giving

After ten years of teaching and having training in RJ, SEL, and PBIS, this book has delivered more helpful concepts to stay on point with my students each year. I probably will revisit this book each school year.

Lessons to create good human beings

I felt this book was a really good resource for new teachers. There are a lot of concepts, such as keeping food in your classroom or giving student options for assignments, etc. that are used in school consistently. There are also a lot of good ideas for building on your relationships with your studentswhich inform new teachers on how to begin a school year on the right foot.

Should be required reading!

Every aspiring educator should be required to read (or listen to) this book. I used it for a book study and truly enjoyed it. Easy listen.

An Absolute Teaching Must...

I laughed. I cried. I learned. I connected. I feel empowered.

This book gave me so many things to think about, reinforced the things that I'm doing right or well, and pushed me to do even more with my kiddos. I do not think I've ever read a book that has given me more to think about in regards to individual yet simple ways to reach my students. I cannot wait to ask my students "I wish my teacher knew...." this school year!
