Timely and relevant data about modern work culture

Enjoyed this title. Dr Ofosu uses data to describe the conditions, pitfalls, and strategies required to survive and thrive in the modern workplace. This data-backed survey of challenges and successes covered multiple sectors, included Canadian references and centred the kind of employee who might not have a mentor, sponsor, or ally to learn from. This is a must-read for anyone employed -- especially if you belong to sn equity-seeking group.

Good Advice on How to Face up to Work Barriers

I feel this is such a complex and multifaceted topic, that it can be difficult to translate in a book. However, Dr. Ofosu has done a fine job in How to be Resilient in Your Career. While it isn't a book one can simply read through, because it requires thought on how it might apply to your particular situation, the author's style of narration on the Audible version lent itself to being able to consume the information easily.

For those looking for advice on how to face up to barriers at work, or for those interested in the challenges facing those in today's workplace, How to be Resilient in Your Career is a good choice.

The book is very relatable and empowering. It's not just a typical career development guide; it's like having a wise mentor laying out all the facts, and tools you’ll need to succeed. Brilliant!
