A book that shows clarity through stories and funnies about how our government is wrong ….. beware it might make you a day drinker

Santa Candy is a very good storyteller.

I truly enjoyed this book I find them very funny and numerous and enjoy this life story.

It’s in the Senator’s voice. So down home and comforting.

And still informative, witty, funny, inspiring, insightful. Just a joy to listen to through out my day. I may switch to this book instead of white noise.

Fantastic! I loved this book! I enjoyed it even more because it was read by the author!

I loved this book! It is both a memoir as well as a common sense examination of the issues facing us in this country today. I greatly appreciated his directness and plain way of speaking sprinkled with humor! He is truly brilliant yet humble. I love watching him in Senate hearings and this book follows his logical and practical way of getting to the truth of the matter! I recommend this book to everyone and anyone!

This man is so intelligent so honest and funny and he knows the most important thing…. What questions to ask !!!! His questioning candidates in front of committees was amazing. I always say when you ask a question and you have an audience and you want to get the FACTS OUT put IT in the question! His ability to explain and reiterate, what is need to be known really really impressed me. I stayed uptill 3 am listening and then next morning i couldnt wait to get back to this book! Please move to Florida ! Louisiana has had you long enough! You are a Senator we can be proud of! I loved the deal he made by calling the president on cell towers saving us 50 billion!!! Thank you for that!!! I took notes while i was listening. Thank you for writing this book and giving us the reality of what its like to be a Senator. You should watch Madame Secretary tv series as i cant believe all the things that came true in that series …, its like the writers had premonitions of the events to come! What a great book

I was really impressed by the heartfelt honesty of Mr Kennedy. This is the best book I have read written by a political figure.

Common sense

Suggestion- TERM LIMITS! House of Representatives actually be the House of Representatives and fewer attorneys. Senate perhaps a majority of attorneys. President must have a business background. Supreme Court attorneys.

Pass a law that precludes the president from serving in the house or Senate prior to holding office . Too many opportunities for corruption as we’ve painfully seen in the past.

To fix the single mom issue, give a larger tax break for a parent who stays home with their children! Win/win/win- kids have a parent at home/job market opens up from the jobs relinquished by that parent/fewer kids with abandonment issues. (I speak from personal experiences)

Mr. Kennedy, you are a great orator and critical thinker! Loved listening to your work ❤️

Honesty

Common sense, a true concern for his America. His approach to a good life is not living a lie!!
