Resumen del Editor

Since when did being a henchman become so hard?

Alice (that's "Iron" to her followers) is desperate to earn her best friend's forgiveness, keep her villainous boss happy, and stay away from pesky capes. (Especially a certain hero who is as hunkalicious as he is arrogant.) And one more thing. Alice is determined to destroy Shadow. The scary-as-hell villain has been rampaging through her town, leaving a trail of bodies in his wake. Shadow seems unstoppable, but can Alice succeed where the town's greatest hero failed? Her only hope may be in finally learning to rely on her friends.

The showdown with Shadow is coming, and it's going to be bloody. Can a lowly henchman save a town full of heroes?

Find out in the final installment of The Henchman's Survival Guide. J Bennett's mesmerizing and futuristic henchman series is heavy on the action, and will keep listeners guessing, until the very end.

Join Alice, Adan, and Sequoia, for this nail-biting conclusion....And hold on tight!

excellent

this book is well written, the characters are well fleshed out, and you can tell the author did his research about the world he built. in general it seems like he really gave a shit about this book it's really a gen. as of late I've been struggling to find good books and this one is a real beacon in the night.

interesting 🤔

I must admit that I actually had to struggle to finish this one.
a good portion of the book sounded like a emotionally charged romance novel.... I truly do understand that the author was trying to get the feelings across, unfortunately... there were times in the book where I actually had to fast forward...
just to get past the angst, that was repeated over and over.

don't get me wrong I think a character should have flaws.... but when they're a bundle of nothing but flaws and those flaws are pointed out over and over again, you can only say oh woe me, why me, im so bad! So many times, before it gets boring.

The author also reiterates the feelings so many times that you just want to scream I know you just said that in the last chapter and the chapter

I actually had to stop the book several times and force myself to keep going so I could find out what was going to happen in the hero/villian arc.

The tantalizing hero villain Saga that was shunted to the background as an afterthought, simple set dressing
while the emotional trauma with amped up.

this book could have been put in an old west setting, or any setting that had actors dealing with reality shows and social media, by the end of the third book you realize that it really wasn't about heroes and villains at all.

Does she become a hero in the end? kind of in a sloppy haphazard way.

I am kind of glad that the series is over. I know about the big evil and when I think back on it I won't reread it.
