Really enjoyed this series. Hope they continue to put out the rest of the series as there seems to be plenty of source material

A good ending for where the anime stopped.

for those that have seen the anime this is where it ended at least for now. So highly recommend if you liked the show to pick up the rest of the series. As someone who is re-listening to it it really does get better from here and the adventures continues to get even more entertaining.

Feels like I missed something

When listening to the beginning of the book it felt like there was another book I should have read as they recap a pretty huge moment. Turns out I did not and it seems the author just wanted to summarize what happen vs explaining what happen. Not a huge deal breaker once I realize I was not missing anything. I am not going to knock the overall score as I still found it enjoyable and this series out of all the light novels that Audible is getting is my favorite (next to Overlord and The Saint's Magic Power Is Omnipotent)

so the story has some really good things going for it The story the performance the characters the detailed explanations it's all extremely captivating and actually does a really good job but unfortunately the series as a whole has some negatives a big negative is the intermission if I'm paying for a book series I don't like a 17 minute segment of my 8-hour series to be dedicated to practically pointless storylines this happens more often than not another thing that I don't like is the extremely long-winded explanations into justifications or simple story explanation again it's like 20 minute explanations for things that really don't matter that much And lastly I think it's just the fact that the character could be so intelligent sometimes but also so stupid other times especially when dealing with assumptions about the world that he's in in one page he's a literal genius coming up with incredible inventions And ideas The next minute he's speaking to a scientist and he's like Duhhhhh thinking... hurts my head I'm really being probably more mean about it but that's the summary of how I felt sometimes either way I'll continue listening to the story but those are just my thoughts
