Odd narrator
The story line is somewhat interesting but it is hard to concentrate on the story with the male narrator for a female character. And his tone and inflection sometimes does not match the spirit of the scene he is reading.

I’m thinking it would be better to just read it
I don’t like to criticize anybody and I’m not trying to but…why would you use a male voice for a female part? The narrator is not bad…it’s just that his voice does not fit the part and it very noticeable. I prefer audible books because my eyes are not as dependable as they used to be. Please…choose wisely before you select your narrator.

A quirky joy ride that I never expected!
This is not your normal vampire story to say the least.
It is fun, magical, and as joyful a jump away from Braum Stroker as you can get.
I thought it was a thoroughly enjoyable hoot and chuckle.
Don't fear, as this series progresses you will get a taste of blood, neck, fangs and fights.

Fun story but not narrator
This book, written from a female perspective, is awkward with the male narrator’s voice. It just didn’t connect correctly with the audience and made it difficult to “buy in” to the story. Otherwise, I liked the story and dialogue from the main character. I would have liked it more with an appropriate narrator’s voice. Not sure that I want the next in the series if he’s the narrator again? I may buy the actual book to read and give it a try.

A Vampire and Witch series
Not to sure about this series yet. The storyline is ok but not fond of this narrator. I am actually going to read it for my own interpretation. Seems like it is going to be pretty good as it goes along. But, again, will not continue with this narrator. Sorry, I am sure he is better with other stories.
