Rafe and Nolan’s story is sweet, fun, and steamy. My heart broke for both Rafe and Nolan for the pasts that they endured. Together they are so adorable and compatible. Hailey is such a little force and too cute.

Both Scott Rose and Christian Leatherman are new to me narrators and I enjoyed both of them and look forward to listening to more audiobooks read by them.

Cute story

This is an MM romance between a single dad and Hailey's kindergarten teacher. Nolan is looking for a relationship, and Rafe only wants friends with benefits. He is scared of letting someone else in after how things went Hailey's mom. It was an enjoyable book. I did the audio, which I really enjoyed. Narrators did a great job.

Sweet story

Two new yo me narrators did a good job with bringing this story to life. Well written and very sweet. Worth listening too.

M/M roamnce

Totally Schooled is a M/M single parent/teacher romance. Instant chemistry and spicy moments between Rafe and Nolan. I enjoyed watching their love blossom, despite their struggles. Rafe’s daughter was the cutest, and I feel for her as quick as Nolan did.

Scott Rose and Christian Leatherman did a great job portraying these characters.

Wonderful Story & Listen🎧 Riveting & Heartfelt!

This wonderful and beautifully written romance novel is not only captivating from start to end, but it tugs on your heartstrings too. Construction worker Rafe Scott is a single dad of an adorable daughter, Hailey, and is attentive and very protective of her. When she begins school, he will be certain about who he is trusting his daughter with, including her bus driver and teacher. He was expecting a Miss Burke to be her teacher but got a Mister Burke instead, a very hot-looking mister. Hailey connected with her teacher right away, so all was good. Despite a few minutes of awkwardness, Rafe could not keep his eyes off of Mr. Nolan Burke, and the feeling was mutual, but they must maintain a professional relationship. Rafe being new in town has no one to turn to when he needs a sitter so he asks Nolan and that was the start of their friendship and the more they got to know each other the harder it got to resist giving into the chemistry they share, smoking hot chemistry. Rafe, who has a troubled romantic history, made a vow to never allow himself to fall in love again. However, must he pay the price of true happiness for his past mistakes? Nolan’s last relationship was not good, and he always wound up with guys who need fixing, so he vowed to not do that again, but he could not help but fall in love with Rafe and even Hailey. It broke Nolan’s heart that Rafe could not love him back. This wonderfully plotted romance novel has the perfect balance of drama, heartfelt emotions, is low on angst and high on heat. Nicole Dykes, thank you for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride. 

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Scott Rose and Christian Leatherman did an amazing job bringing these characters and story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that was fitting and believable, including Hailey, the scene stealer. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture the character’s emotions and project them into their performance, making you feel them all. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

Teacher / student’s dad

Rafe comes from a small minded town. Him and his daughter end up moving. When Rafe meets her kindergarten teacher he is instantly intrigued. However Nolan does not date his students parents. Which works for Rafe because he doesn’t want to date just have a friends with benefits. However, somewhere down the line they each fall for each other. Rafe fights the attraction thinking he would just bring Nolan down due to past experiences. This couple was just what each other needed.

Good story

Rafe is used to be let down.by people. It's not the norm to be gay in his small town. His parents were embarrassed, didn't understand him.
Nolan wanted a relationship, tired of hookups and flawed relationships.
Both found each other, but Rafe has hangups. Nolan didnt know how this would effect him emotionally, since Rafe did not want to get close.
An endearing child, Nolan's understanding and loving family, opened up Rafes heart and soul.
Scott Rose and Christian Leatherman narration is very good.

well this was a good book, I felt a bit sad for the teacher. poor guy fell really fast. but I was a bit mad at the dad. he was so stubborn. but all in all I'm so glad thing work out between them.

I loved this book. It is a teacher/parent MM romance. Rafe is a single dad new to town. He meets his daughter’s kindergarten teacher and is instantly attracted to him. Rafe has relationship hang ups from his past. Once Rafe can work through his trauma things move quick. Scott Rose and Christian Leatherman did fantastic job narrating this book.

The steam and undeniable love 😍

This was a steamy and adorable M/M romance! I felt so bad for Nolan in this one and wanted to shake Rafe so badly for his inability to come to terms he was already dating Nolan haha. Like if everyone sees it, even your little girl, it should have bene a wake up call. I felt for Rafe with his background, what happened to his ex, how his parents and her parents treated him. He never deserved it and the guilt he had was unjustified. I appreciated Nolan finally sticking up for himself after he finally but his heart on his sleeve and put it all out there for Rafe to just deny their love.

I think the side characters totally stole the show. Hailey was incredibly adorable and she made me giggle and get teary-eyed so much in this audiobook. When they were trying to explain dating and then how quick she would go back to her Barbies hahaha. Loved it so much! The relationship that is built between her and Nolan (as her teacher and then her friend and then her stepdad) was incredible and a great progression. The love you could feel he had for her and for Rafe was palpable. I loved Nolan’s family and Rafe’s Aunt. They added comedic relief and also more intricacies with the different family dynamics. I also loved how Nolan’s parents were teachers, it just felt so loving in that household. Oh and the ladies throwing themselves at them was annoying/kinda gross but it was funny when they realized they were gay and wasnt ashamed of what they had been trying to do. I think for me Rafe was very frustrating which is why I rounded down my 4.5/5 stars to 4, but that is probably just personal preference. I didnt like how naive he was being.

I enjoyed this book, it was my 2nd from this author, and I will be looking at more in the future (I totally grabbed some audiobooks from her during the last big site-wide Audible sale). She does a good job pulling at your heartstrings but also making you laugh and Awwwww. I think I like this one better than the first book I listened to by her a couple months ago. I think both narrators did an amazing job and I will be listening to more by them. I felt the excitement with their honeymoon stage, the love and tension between them, the way Nolan couldnt help but fall for the little girl and want her as his own, and the heartache when the big fight/climax happened and then the relief when they got their HEA.

If you are looking for a fun and steamy and emotional book, this standalone is a great choice! Would recommend and was happy to have gotten a couple hours to escape into this story.
