A great series as stand alone or group. This one has an alpha male and a real woman. Fun and sexy!

The intricacies of the characters and the plot.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I can't pick. I love them all! I love how the guys and the neighborhood protect their own.

Have you listened to any of Jim Frangione’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes and he is just fabulous. He never disappoints!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It kind of melted my heart a little. Love the guys!

Same pattern but better written than book 1

Well, well same song second verse. The Hero and Heroine start their relationship but, some bad dudes from her past show back up, in her life and the gang gathers around the couple to catch the bad guys. Again, Cherry, the Heroine, is emotionally scarred by the abuse she suffered as a teenager. Again, I was a bit disappointed that there was no mention of counseling. I just think it would add some realism to the plot if the victims of abuse sought counseling and healed, as a result. However, this is a work of fiction, so perhaps my opinion is wrong.

All in all, this book was better written and, even though the Heroine had some annoying hang-ups, the Heroine was a stronger person.

As always, Jim Frangione’s narration was spot on. Therefore, especially since the book is included in the romance package, it’s a worthy listen.

painful child abuse, torment, hard to hear. the 5 star is for how they overcame it, how much the group all loves each other and the fact that this book, mercifully, 2as full of something except s*x

My new book boyfriend is Denver! I'm really looking forward to Armies story...well truly I'm looking forward to learning more about about all of the guys and their girls.

I love Lori Foster's men

I wasn't too sure about this series because of the MMA fighters. I am not a fan of the sport at all, but the books are still great. If you like Foster's other books you will like these too.

Great book

I love all of Lori Foster's books. All of the characters feel like family now. I've listened to a couple of books from this series. I loved this one but not as much as the other two I've listened to. Why? I'm not sure. I think for me the chemistry between the H and h could have popped a little better. However, the danger side story was excellent. I'm glad I listened to the book. I would recommend it to a friend.

If you like Lori Foster's books then you won't be let down by this one....It is the same basic plotline as the others, but I like them so it is worth it to me.
