Loved this couple so much

Another fantastic book by Cora Rose. This is the second book in the Unexpectedly Twister series.

I listened to the audiobook and my ears were so happy I did.

Like the other books in this series, Bane was a fan favorite for me. He is just so completely unhinged yet the biggest golden retriever ever. I am so looking forward to his book in this series.

Now back to His Prince, Angel was everything I thought he would be based on the previous book. He may look innocent and be easy going, but he also is sharp and is fiercely loyal and protective over those he chooses to be in his life.

I really disliked Mikhail at the beginning of this book. I didn’t understand why he lured Angel to be his husband and then completely abandoned him after they consummated the marriage. Luckily for Angel, Mikhail’s men were more than happy to make him feel comfortable in his new home.

I really grew to love Mikhail and Angel’s relationship and to see how far they came in their relationship. I can’t wait to continue on in this series.

A great continuation to the series!

I've been looking forward to Angel's book and it went beyond my expectations! I loved seeing this sweet, soft bb figure out he has teeth! And Mikhail is probably one of my favorite Cora Rose MCs of all time. He's so tired and he's hurt and he hates his job so much. He's such a reluctant mafia boss and wants to love Angel but just can't let himself. 🥺 These two have such a wonderful dynamic and were perfectly brought to life by Zachary Zaba. Don't miss this one!

Little devil

I loved this! I loved the fact that Angel wasn’t a pushover. Once Angel realized Mikhail wasn’t what he thought, he didn’t just lay down and cried.

He showed Mikhail what he was truly made of and it wasn’t the sweet, innocent man he met. Angel showed his claws and stood his ground.

Not only did he took over the house, he took over Mikhail’s bodyguards 🤣 Angel was the new boss without even trying.

My poor baby Angel, he was so happy thinking he’d found his Prince Charming, only to find out he’d gotten a toad. I felt so bad for him because he really was looking forward to being married.

I wasn’t a fan of Mikhail at first because he hurt my Angel. But I could totally understand why he acted the way he did. I don’t think anyone could blame him after everything he went through.

However, he should have been honest with Angel, not string him along without a care about his feelings. Angel didn’t deserve that.

Mikhail could see Angel was trouble. He had no chance of not falling for Angel. But thinking he did was his first mistake. The second was underestimating how stubborn Angel was and how charming he could be.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved that we got a glimpse into Bane and Georgiy’s story. I can’t wait to read them😁

Zachary did an amazing job narrating. I particularly loved his Mikhail’s voice. So sexy🥵

loved seeing Angel's feisty side

seems things aren't what Angel thought they'd be, he feels he's been shown a side of Mikhail he would fall for only to cruelly find out who his new husband really is

to me this book is all Angel, in other books we've seen him as a naive overprotected kid that's been kept separate from the family business but here we see him taking charge of an unexpected situation, showing us that you can be soft and caring while also being assertive and strong

I loved seeing Angel all sweet making other people's lives better, making a new path for him while also being SO feisty and sassy

we see Bane too and that's making me so eager to read his book, I'm hoping for complete chaos and and some 🩸 play

Angel Deserves the World

I’ve been waiting for Angel’s story, and it didn’t disappoint. Angel is pure sunshine; transforming Mikhail’s dark, cold world into something vibrant and full of life. Even when Mikhail pulled the ultimate jerk move after their marriage, Angel’s strength and spirit made me root for him every step of the way. The audiobook brought out all of Angel’s charm and fire, making it impossible not to love him. Mikhail’s redemption worked (though I wish he’d had to fight harder for it), and the surprise Lizard Granny Mafia cameo had me grinning. Angel truly deserves everything, and listening to his journey was such a joy.
