Entertaining

I enjoyed the listen of this story. Levi was consistent throughout and I felt sorry for him. I wanted to smack Krista for her on again off again mentality and messing with Levi's feelings. Other than that it was a good story. Narration performance was good.

A witty, charming, steamy and highly entertaining romance. I enjoyed going on this journey with Krista and Levi.

The author had never disappointed me in her books!! She is very talented!! I really liked this book!!

Yeah!!! Krista's story!! ❤️ Is she a cougar? 😏HOT!!! 🔥 Not enough age gaps with older women. W😲W! The family drama and favortism is super painful 😬 This whole series is 5 stars!

great story

Love the story and finally hearing the FMC's background. Didn't love that the female narrator had an accent at times for the MMC, but the male narrator did not. Besides that, another great listen from Odette Stone!

Levi and Krista unlikely love

I wasn’t sure about this story line at beginning, but Levi and Krista chemistry was off the chart. I loved their interactions and how Levi handled Krista! Love Mica and Charlie included in this story. Would’ve like to see interaction with Ryan and his girlfriend like they didn’t exist. Where is Rory and her beau? Did they get married have any kids, etc. Would like more of this series. Would love a novella planning Levi and Krista big wedding.

The whole Thanksgiving scene with the mom and sister was crazy. Where is the dad? He just sits around and let Bee wreck havoc over Krista’s life. Also, the way Bee indulged the sister was a bit much.

Overall the love scenes and story line made me not want to put it down

Really Enjoyed This Listen

I was really hoping Crista would get her own book! I enjoyed this book and the characters.

This slight reverse age gap, sports romance, is a great listen.
The narrators did so well with this one, too. I liked listening to this very much. My only thing was the female narrator gave Levi I slight accent, and the male narrator did not. It was a little confusing.

This is Levi and Crista's book that kept you guessing... I enjoyed the slight mystery to this one as well.

I had been putting off this series for a while and finally gave it a shot, and I was not disappointed. I really fell in love with the characters and their story.

Decent story but a bit slow. And perhaps I missed it but the specific age difference between the main characters was never revealed.

Krista and Levi

Audiobook review. Dual POV narration. Vancouver Wolves Hockey series, book 4. Reverse age gap, married while high 4 hours after meeting. While both narrators read well, this narration was confusing. The accents they chose made it seem like they were reading completely different books. Content warnings: FMC's ex cheated on her with her sister; FMC's sister got pregnant on purpose; absurd family dynamic; food fight; crazy ex-boyfriend/stalker; hockey fights; personal relationship that caused a conflict of interest between agent and client.

Krista is a sports agent who is unlucky at love. Her now ex-boyfriend cheated on her with her sister. Her sister got pregnant to keep him. Her ex wants her back, but Krista isn't interested. Levi's mom died when he was a teenager, was sent to boarding school once his military father gained custody, played hockey while in Germany, but his dad died, then he had issues with his agent so he hasn't played in 8 months. The owner of the Vancouver Wolves Hockey team tells Krista to bring Levi in for a tryout and interview. Krista agrees because she is trying to make the Forbes list for sports agents. After they meet they go to the bar for drinks to discuss what Krista is offering but accidentally drink Levi's friends' "special" shots. As they arrive in Vancouver, Levi reveals they are married.....

While this was an enjoyable read/listen, some of it is even more farfetched than the previous book in the series (The Penalty Box). JP
