I loved how supportive Cathy was to Janie. Janie was a mother that was overwhelmed and received the supportive help from Cathy but Janies inability to accept the help and grow as a person had me frustrated with her.

Cathy wrote an amazing recount of her life as a support worker and everything she does. I’m so glad she met the elderly woman it was a nice book to show you family matters.

Listening to books

I liked this one better than a few of her more recent books. I would have liked to see more of a wrap up to her fostering career. She said this would be her last book but it just kind of ended.

Sad that it will be the last

As usual she puts the children first but she realizes she has limits now as she's getting older as we all do and I enjoy her books very much.

Kathy's patience with Jamie

Cathy is very forgiving and patient. I wonder if she gets reimbursed her expenses on the troubled family. Perhaps Cathy also has the psychological needs to take care helpless, which she she should evaluated by professionals
