This series is sooooo good!! The narrator’s voice is mesmerizing and does such an amazing job telling this story!! Can’t wait for more!

great book.. I read all three books in week. I just couldn't stop listening.. the 4th book can't get here fast enough...

Good

I really like Lyssandra in this series. I like the fact that this book starts pretty much at the ending of the last book. Lyssandra, her vampire lover, her best friend, and her uncle travel together to find witches. When they find the witches fortress, they end up getting more than they bargained for. Murders are happening in the witches compound and Lyssandra is going to help solve the murders as long as they teach her magic. Lyssandra learn more about the type of magic that she has. I will definitely be reading the next book in this series.

Absolutely the best one thus far!

This book out of the series so far has/was by far my favorite book! I am beyond excited to start the next book in the series which is the last one in the series available it looks like so either it will be the end of the series or there's another book in the series to come, either way the story the series has become better with each book truly. It's as if she some how upped her game as a writer and upgraded an average fantasy story to an even more insanely magical more expansive world where this book felt akin to reading a Harry Potter kind of book but for the now adult fans with romance that's been a slow to burn epic love enemies to lovers with spice but the spice level changing in each book. It has incredible character development for good or bad in each book. Now back to the Harry Potter reference it has magic and a city protected alot of those kind of vibes but also add in the vampires of course and other worldly beings and not to spoil any of the ending but I was shook and surprised how it left off where there was a curve ball and that made me absolutely love it a million times more because I thought I had a prediction of where it would lead and end on note wise for it but I was completely wrong and to me that is the best compliment to a writer and book when they surprise you in the story and leave you agasp itching to run to the next book to find out what happens next! Sorry this is such a long review but I got excited to share my take on this book lol.

Excellent Storytelling and World Building

My only complaint is that book 4 is not recorded yet. I really enjoyed the series so far. I could t put it down. I really didn’t expect much since there are so many vampire stories out there but this one did surprise me with twists and turns.

Phenomenal third book

This is a new gold standard series for me. Heavy on the plot with just the right amount of romance. Castlevania meets Van Helsing meets Witcher vibes. The FMC and MMC are both excellently written, and the series avoid annoying tropes. Plenty of twists. Each book is fantastic in its own right. The narrator is 10/10- her accents and inflections for each character elevated the whole series. I’ll seek out more from both the author and narrator.
