It's Not That Hard

You would expect that after many books a series would tie up all the loose ends. The author was very proud that he had finished the series and chided the author of another series for not finishing his work. I enjoyed this book and the series but do not have the pleasure I usually have after finishing a series because this world the author created is still robust and filled with many unanswered questions. So, for me this series was never finished. It was stopped. There is no pride deserved if you just stop rather than fully exploring the world you have created. I have already bought the first book of another series from this author but wish the author had not boasted of finishing a series and declaring it not that hard. To claim that distinction the world should have been more fully explored and not leave so many unanswered questions. All this did was show how hard it is to finish a series and in a series far less complex than GOT the author just stopped. I enjoy this author's work but decry his hubris.

Amazing series and ending

I enjoyed every character including the ancestor blades. It’s difficult to find a series that’s good from beginning, middle and ending but this series had no low/slow points and the ending delivered. Bittersweet moments reading this book, would recommend to anyone looking for depth in characters, amazing visual and great battles. Thank you Larry!

You ended this story masterfully

Every line and every sense had me on the edge of my seat, it was amazing to see it all come together at the end

Perfect end to the saga, worth the wait for the listten. Might have to binge the whole series again.

Great ending to a great story

Satisfying battle scenes. Great characters. Sad losses of brave heroes. And a very poignant epilogue
