The title of my review might hurt sound harsh but the book it self was good but you could tell it was a second installment of a trilogy but saying that the book was good and I look foreword to its conclusion and hope I see a certain scribe come back for his kids🤞🤣🤣

It screams second book

First the narrator is fantastic, story has a good flow and builds upon the universe started with the covenant of steel.

This is a poor book for audio. The author wallows in authentic Scandinavian names for places and people. It’s hard to place all the names in memory with only sound. Much more recognizable if one were to read it. Parsing meaning while listening is frustrating, not the emotion one seeks in an audio book.
