Listen in the shower and while in my car. So much action and suspense. Please keep the books coming.

Not impressed

The MMC and the FMC would be in the middle of a highly stressful situation and all of a sudden be thinking naughty thoughts. After several chapters of that discordance, I cut to the last chapter just to see if the ending was any good. It was okay.

Won’t be listening to this ever again.

Loved story!

This is my first book by this author. I’ve already purchased the remaining 2 books in the series hoping they will be as good as the first. My only complaint is the performer’s voice. When I first started listening I felt like I might not be able to handle his voice for an entire book, but after a few chapters I adjusted to the voice. Myself being a native Texan, I’m somewhat sensitive how performers portray a voice from the south. I know I have a Texas twang, but don’t make me into a country girl who just fell off the turnip truck. In the performance of this book I do think the actor could tone down his accent.

Hard target

The book was enjoyable. Lots of twists and turns. Narrator was good also. On to next one.

Action wit a hint of romance

Good story from a new to me author that I will be keeping my eye on! Glad this is the first of a series, just bought the 2nd book, Personal Target on Audible. Can't wait to start.

Easy listen

Never listened to this author before but loved the story. Narrator was good and book flowed . Was a little disappointed that no mention of Nick was made after he was badly injuries but maybe that's the next story line.

Kay Thomas writes with a hard core passion

I wasn't sure about a male reading a romance novel. I feared the narrator would kill the book for me, but I was pleasantly surprised! Kay Thomas is an amazing writer! I live in Dallas and loved accurate descriptions of the town. 5 stars go out to Kay Thomas for writing such a wonderful novel.

Hard Target

I enjoyed the story. It was fast paced & the characters were well developed. The plot was twisted. This narrator was not a good choice. If this hadn’t been included in my Audible membership I wouldn’t waste my time on the rest of the series.

Horrible narrative

I am definitely not a fan of this narrator. The story was OK a little bit of romance. I’m honestly dreading listening to the rest of the books in the series. I just can’t stomach the narrator. So far I’m not a fan of this writer. Save your money or credits, and listen to a book narrated by Sebastian York.
