For a first book it's Really good

Yeah i was hooked all night ridding the scrubber around reading it. I kept stopping and telling my wife and friend what happening.I really liked the premiseof the story young inexperienced trainees going to war untested. The characters are all funny and bring somthing to the table.I can't wait to see how they meet up with Ella again, if she shows up at the achadamy or another mission puts them all together.

Really enjoyed this book

This is the first time I have listened to a book from this author. It won’t be the last. The story was creative with interesting characters and the plot that kept you thinking.
The narrators were both excellent and they really brought the story to life.
I am looking forward to the next book in the series

Griffin riders, RULE!

After the kingdom's griffin riders get destroyed on the battlefield, the kingdom has to call the riders still in the academy, to battle.
The MC finds out he's got special ability to add to his and his partner's powers by copulating with a harem. An ability that hasn't been seen for many generations.
Good story. I'm looking forward to the next book.
I'm giving this book 6.5 out of 5 stars.

loved it

I'm really looking forward to more from this series. the pacing was good, filled with great action and humor. the narrators did quite well also. sign me up for book 2 and more.

Really Boring and Bland

So I thought this was going to be a good book and I can tell you right now it isn't or at least not for me.

It just felt like everyone is one-dimensional and I mean everyone from the MC to the Griffins to the background characters. Like here they are and here is what they are supposed to be. There was no depth behind them.

It felt like there was no passion behind the scenes... it just felt like someone was reading the book not acting it out or even attempting to act it out. It was just bland.

The Griffins also sounded incredibly small and no smarter than a loyal animal. Griffins at least in mythology were huge and often fought dragons in one-to-one combat over territory. They were supposedly incredibly smart creatures. Again the Griffins sounded more like loyal animals, not super smart creatures.

Even the sex scenes weren't arousing, it was just like "OK we are having sex now." It was bland and awkward to listen to.

The whole thing was pretty terrible from the writing to the acting. The only thing I could say it was a good concept just horribly executed.
