Armed with a new name, his father's axe, a map leading him to a Dungeon, and whatever he could stuff in a backpack, Domnic's adventure begins.

I NEED MORE

Lewis Alexander's come along way in his voice acting for me, I don't Find his voice grating any more, which is a plus because he wasn't terrible to begin with, I just unfortunately didn't care for his voice. Roslyn is good as always, the story is excelent, and isn't bogged down with constant sex scenes, there is the right combination of romance, action, and drama. There were a few points where I thought that certain plots or relationships would be dropped or ignored, but it turns out William has done a great job keeping them all tied together, either for later plot, or resolved by the end, and does a good enough of a job building up relationships throughout the story before game of thronesing them when he does do it.

Great Start

A very exciting new series. This is an automatic pre order moving forward. The one pet issue is the Character Jess. The book went from a progression/litrpg storyline to a teenage romance storyline. After meeting Jess no stats of MC was given it is like that part of the book was written by a different author. I hope book 2 comes out soon. Go back to the progression storyline and lay off the Jess character Nick and Granpa made the book awesome not Jess over sexuality it is annoying after the first 2 mins.

This is another series that I will follow closely, this first book is a great set up to a story that I fell will grow into epic favorite someday.

good start

started out great. went downhill from there. I have read many of this authors work. this is by far his worst.

First Arand/Darren book I couldn't finish.

I made it partially through chapter 31 after going through 2 chapters of incel crap, and the feeling that the protagonist would have done necrophilia if he didn't have another person with him judging.

it felt like 30 seconds of moving the story, then 3 minutes of talking about sex, over and over, for 2 chapters. and it's with a woman we have barely met.

I hoped for better.

let me start out by saying I have this authors entire catalog so far. this is the first book I actually felt didn't really hit like the rest of the series. reads more like a slice of life. dont wanna, but worth the credit tho

Meh

Like most arands books this was just messed up and not well written. The mc is pretty unlikable and a complete idiot at times. Relation ships are paper thin for the most part and are based off sex more often then not. The relationship the mc starts with Jess was the only interesting one.
